Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 24, 2005 I shoveled out my driveway as fast as possible. 34 minutes.
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2005 Well, we ended up with about 30" or so, but it's the real airy, powdery, ski-area type snow, so it was easy to move and it should melt fairly quickly. I take back any good things I've ever said about snow, though.
nl5xsk1 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2005 Count me as another that's pretty apathetic about ~The Blizzard of 2005~ ... we ended up getting just over 2 feet, maybe 30", but nothing worth flipping out about. I went out drinking with some friends on Saturday, and when I got home I got high and went for a walk in the snow. Yesterday, I dug my car out (fucking plow drivers blocked my car in ... literally just mine, my neighbors cars were 2 & 3 spots further over, they were fine. My car was pretty much surrounded by snow) and then went to a friend's house to watch the games. Total negative effect on my weekend: about 45 minutes worth of shoveling. Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Report post Posted January 25, 2005 I pretty much stayed in the house all weekend with my girlfriend but her period decided to show up on Friday. I think I would've rather faced the blizzard. Being with a girl on her period within closed confines can result in confrontations not unlike UFC. Actually Sunday wasn't half bad. I just gave her a Corona and let her play GTA while I watched football. I think I'm onto something here...
