Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted January 30, 2005 Triple H's return pop at MSG kinda surprised me... Thank God the crowds got smart and stopped cheering him by May, realizing he's one of the worst babyfaces when he's not the D-X wiseass. The Raw following OTE 99 (dubbed Raw is Owen) didn't have that much heat. The only times they really popped were when someone praised Owen, and when Jarrett put Test in the Sharpshooter. iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2005 And when Austin and Rock both came out. I'd say that the mood was pretty damn somber and depressing, and not one of cheering or booing. It's honestly a really boring show (with good reason), but extremely unique at the same time.
Guest Loss Report post Posted February 5, 2005 There's a 12-woman elimination tag from AJW on 12/06/87 that has more heat than probably anything else I've ever seen from start to finish. Never underestimate the vocal cords of teenage girls, as they pretty much shrieked from start to finish in this thing. I'll make sure to mark that one off the list. That kind of screaming makes my ears bleed. Coming into this, I honestly thought Hogan/Andre would have it, but I'm going to have to look up some of these matches. Than you'd probably be missing out. I can't say enough good things about the awesomeness of joshi puroresu. Loss, that's the match cited by Meltzer as having the most heat ever, right? I was under the impression that only 10 minutes or so was shown from this match. Is it available in full? Sorry I'm just now seeing this. I wasn't aware Meltzer had ever discussed the heat for this match. It was on the Jo Mosh comp, and if it was edited at all, it was very slight.
CanadianChick 0 Report post Posted February 5, 2005 It's not a match, but how about Jericho in Winnipeg earlier this year? That had to be the loudest reaction of the year.

Guest The Mandingo Warrior Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I was at both Hogan-Warrior and Hogan-Rock. I would say that Hogan-Rock was alot louder than Hogan-Warrior, probably because the crowd was split 50/50 for that match, instead of 100/0 at wrestlemania X-8. Hogan got a deafening pop for a fucking back rake on the rock!! To be part of that crowd was amazing. It didn't matter if the match was shit, (I thought it was pretty good considering Hogan's age), being there live was a sight to see (and hear!).. The DVD crowd noise doesn't do any justice for the amazing loudness of the live event...I was pissed when Hogan lost..
Guest BDC Report post Posted February 8, 2005 I'd love to get my mitts on the Canadian Stampede match. Most of the others on this list I've already seen.
