Box Office Report

Assault looked lame anyway just judging by the trailer so I had no interest in seeing it and I can't blame movie goers. Ice Cube takes the number one spot! :headbang:

Assault on Precinct 13 was a great remake - it had some noticeable changes from the original, but overall, it was a great, suspenseful film. You should all go and see it.

And I am excited to see Alone In The Dark, simply because every website in the world seems to interview Uwe Boll, and he always says that Alone in the Dark will show him to not be a horrible director. If the film is at least a 5/10, I'll be satisfied, but I somehow doubt it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

It's a Uwe Boll film. Boll is a complete f'n hack. The only thing that separates him from Ed Wood is a little more fame for this stage in his career, and Boll's movies aren't anywhere near as watchable.

The writers include a guy that wrote the screenplay for "MVP2 (Most Vertical Primate)", and two complete newbies.

It's optimistic to expect it to *only* suck huge, floppy donkey dick.

Boll directed a low budget, direct-to-video film called Heart of America that was damn good, so I'll give him one more chance.

Agreed.

I was actually surprised at how ruthless Gabriel Byrne and his team were.

As I said, I thought it would make 13-14 million, but I guess there wasn't much interest in it.

First review.  This appears to not be going pretty.

With only one previous film under his belt

Sorry, but if you can't get a simple fact like that right in the first sentence of your review, I can't really read on.

A number of reviews I've checked out have this pegged as laugh-out-loud/hilariously bad. I've got a free movie pass--I'm going.

This review makes me want to see it more. I simply can't stand by and let the best contender for this generation's Ed Wood get relegated to porno just yet.

I wonder if Reid says she is going to "do science."
