Dandy 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2005 I dont have a preference to either version fo the Big Gold since the only real difference as far as I can tell is one has the WWE logo and the other doesnt. They made it more form-fitting instead of flat, changed some of the plate designs, added the WWE logo, and I think they changed location or number of diamonds and rubies. The WWE version of the World Heavyweight Championship is much nicer in design. Because its a newer, modern version. For its time and actually even now, the Big Gold belt is still a beautiful belt. Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2005 Considering how WWE is giving replicas of the big gold belt to winning sports teams and most recently the WWE Fantasy champion, I think it's pretty obvious which belt the company considers to be their "top" belt. Odd that it's not the belt with all the legacies. 4X Odd that it's the NWA strap. I'm shocked Vince hasn't tried to schedule some sort of angle where he urinates (worked or not) on it yet.
