Dimensions 0 Report post Posted January 27, 2005 Hey, I don't want to have to press ctrl+alt+del after I logon so i can get into windows. I went into some varrying sites and they all say the same thing. Go to the control panel, click user accounts, then hit the advanced tab and go to secure logon. Problem is that there is NO tabs at all when i go into user accounts. My friend has the same problem. Any help on restoring the tabs are a way to get around going through this would be appreciative. Thanks.
Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2005 What's your OS? In XP Pro, when I open User Accounts, there's a link there called "Change the way users log on or off."
Dimensions 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2005 Hey, I have XP Pro Sp 2. The link that goes to "change the way users log on or off" just toggles between welcome screen mode and regular log in mode. There are no options in there that control the ctrl+alt+del function. I think I found out how to control the ctrl+alt+del option however, this is not the option I want. See, what happens is that I log in normally but then it hangs. In order for it to go, I have to press ctrl+al+del. I want to change this.
