In an attempt to at least keep the spirit of this thread alive, I'm going to go out and get plastered.............and watch the Royal Rumble.

I found the one thing alcohol can not make good. It's not wrestling, cause even 3PW is good drunk. It's WWE, which has finally killed drinking with friends for me. That show fucking sucked, sucked, sucked ass. The only thing I found enjoyable was the Smackdown title 3 way, and that's despite Big Show's baby bump into the table. How do any of you people, who do still watch/pay for this, still watch/pay for this and still respect yourself?

The Rumble was entertaining. The rest was meh.

Rumbles are incapable of not being entertaining. That one was just a clusterfuck though. You could tell Patterson was missed.

Actually I think I remember it being mentioned that Patterson helped out with the rumble.

 

Everyone's tastes are different though. I didn't care for the threeway too much. I liked the Rumble for the interplay with Eddie and Benoit in the beginning, Rey's stuff, and some other things.

 

I watched it in the theater with a crowd so I might be seeing it as better than it was.

What you mean loads of booze, skanks with guts in mini skirts listening to house/dance music and rain?

Loads of booze, a bug infested hotel room, the drunk bus, and karaoke?

hmmm, yeah, sounds about right. Though Irish people are usually too cheap even for a bug infested hotel room, they usually just go to a field.

 

Was Fields of Athenry sung at least once at the Karaoke? If so thats dead on

Once I realized how ridiculous I looked in that shirt, sure. And I was hit on by some sort of a he-she that night, who took that picture. Chief kept making me stay in the hopes that I might get drunk enough to do something with her so he could hang that over me for the rest of my days, but self control prevailed.

I took a punch from Chief without those type of results however. The fight was declared a draw after we were seperated and he only landed the one punch and all I could land were a punch to the balls and thumb to the eye.
