Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2005 Unforgiven '98. Austin vs Foley, Kane vs Taker in an inferno match, New Age Outlaws vs LOD, Owen vs HHH, Complete crap.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2005 Actually that first 3 hour IYH wasn't a really horrible show. Bret/Patriot was at least a solid match, and Michaels/UT was a good brawl before the NC. Armageddon 99 was a show that had huge storyline implications though as HHH beat Vince when Steph turned. Besides, that was the show where The Kat showed her tits. Hell that was a GOOD show, haha. The worst WWE PPV to me was the Unforgiven 2002 show. HHH/RVD for the title, Taker/Brock for title. It was just the most depressed I've ever felt as a WWF fan. That show basically killed Van Dam as any sort of main event player, and then to kick me in the nuts they had a no decision for the UT/Brock main event. The show also had Benoit v. Angle and Edge v. Eddy- two of the best matches of the year
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2005 I hated Unforgiven 2002, because of the way Brock was made to look like Undertaker's bitch. As good as the event was as a whole, the main event ruined it.
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2005 While Brock v. Taker is one of those matches that goes 20 minutes when they really should've gone 10- the awesomeness of those two matches more then made up for it. I also really enjoyed the 8-man tag on that show and Y2J v. Flair was a hot short match
Alro 0 Report post Posted February 2, 2005 KOTR 1995 and 1999. I don't remember anything being that great about IYH: It's Time. I ordered that one thinking Bret was going to regain the title. Boy was I disappointed. The In Your House in Feb. 1996 was pretty bad, too, if I recall.

I also really enjoyed the 8-man tag on that show and Y2J v. Flair was a hot short match I agree. I went to that show live so I have a little bias toward it. But after watching the dvd, the show was pretty good. Angle/Benoit was shorter than their usual match but excellent and a hot crowd too, as well as eddie vs edge (the LA crowd was way behind Eddie here trust me) the opener was very good and got the crowd pumped. Jericho and flair had a decent match. RVD vs HHH was good, and hey at least it had a finish(which I called sitting there live after the backstage hhh/flair confrontaion and while flair was running in later-I so yelled heel turn there lol. Trish/molly had a short but fun match. The lowpoints for me were the billy and chuck vs 3MW match and the resulting HLA segment( though the live crowd seemed to enjoy it) the taker/brock match was very good live and just the same on video, but the bad ending left a bad taste. I would have preferred Brock to get the win after some ineterference from heyman or something, thus setting up the HIAC better. Or they should have put hhh vs rvd on last , even with the heel going over at least we would have had a clean finish in the main event.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2005 actually the rey mysterio vs chavo gueerero match on heat was pretty damn good as well, better then a few of the matches on the ppv (its included as an extra on the dvd)
