AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 My Hollywood video had they pre-played, in which must be either a computer error or a major change in their pre-played policy. And these are complete with the casings and everything, so it's as good as just about any pre-played EB/Gamestop game. Anyone else's Hollywood Video doing this? Yeah, Budokai sucks, but it's included. They also had the Spongebob Movie game have this same deal. Maybe HV is going to do this from now on with pre-played stuff, since I scored a couple Spyro: A Hero's Tails for 10 bucks too.

I have to see if my Hollywood is doing that....I wouldn't think so, it sucks ass just as much as Blockbuster.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 If I find those at my Hollywood Video, I'd grab the SVR and GTA: SA... Then go trade them in Seriously, though... I found WWE: Day of Reckoning there the week before Christmas for that same price.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Hollywood video?!?! I don't HAVE a Hollywood video!! That just freakin figures. Oh well, I was able to get all the ESPN sports franchise games for 30 bucks thanks to a sweet deal at my local EB.

Ced 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 I knew about the 3 for $20 deal for PV movie DVDs, but now I have to check to see if this is going on for games too.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2005 Please pick up SD vs. Raw for me, please? Perhaps I could, with a *small* service charge. Depends on if friends beat you to the offer. I knew about the 3 for $20 deal for PV movie DVDs, but now I have to check to see if this is going on for games too. Yes and no. Our HV does "buy 2, get one free" for games. So in this case, you'd be paying $19.98 plus tax on 3 games.
Guest Evolution Report post Posted January 31, 2005 My local Movie Gallery (a Hollywood Video clone?) is having the same kind of preplayed sale, but I don't know if there are such deals as the one mentioned in this thread.

I have *two* Movie Gallerys around here. Yeah, they do the buy-2, get-1 deal, and I believe they let you mix and match games and movies on it. They've had some good deals there, like a 30 dollar Halo 2, recently a 20 dollar Ninja Gaiden, some of the platform goodness titles for $15, and Soul Calibur 2 for $15 (these days no biggie, but they did it back before it went GHs I believe.) However, they take their sweet-ass time putting out pre-playeds. Does your Movie Gallery reek of window cleaner too?

Oh well, I was able to get all the ESPN sports franchise games for 30 bucks thanks to a sweet deal at my local EB. I really hope you mean you got all of them for a total of $30, not $30 each. I don't have a PS2 yet, but I'll definitely buy GTA and SDvR at those prices for when I do get the system. I hope one of the Hollywood Video stores here has them. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted February 1, 2005 I think he does mean getting all of them for $30. Which is a pretty sweet deal, from the sounds of it.
