USC Wuz Robbed! Posted February 5, 2005 Author Report Posted February 5, 2005 I'm a fair-weather Cards fan (and before anyone asks, its because they hailed from Chicago a long time ago). When they do well, I'd root for them, when they don't, I forget they exist.
Guest Just Looking Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Does the proposed Saints one have a clear roof? Because if so, that would be awesome.
The Czech Republic Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I'm a fair-weather Cards fan (and before anyone asks, its because they hailed from Chicago a long time ago). When they do well, I'd root for them, when they don't, I forget they exist. They left in 1960. They precede the Chicago Bulls. I thought you were a fair-weather Chargers fan.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 I dont understand the retractable field in the Arizona stadium. "ooh..the field goes out the big hole when theres not a game..ooh" I cant wait for when they start playing a game and the field starts to move.
starvenger Posted February 7, 2005 Report Posted February 7, 2005 Isn't the Jets stadium kind of tied in with the 2012 Olympic bid? yes Well, they're screwed then. I dont understand the retractable field in the Arizona stadium. "ooh..the field goes out the big hole when theres not a game..ooh" I cant wait for when they start playing a game and the field starts to move. I think it's because people need a reason to go see a game, and it's probably not gonna be the Cardinals or their new "menacing" logo...
treble Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 I think it's so they can have natural grass in an indoor (or mostly indoor, I guess) stadium, and have other events take place without hurting the field. I remember watching the NFL Europe final last year and wherever it was in Germany and it had the same deal.

There are a lot of teams I respect. Teams I'd root over others. Bears, Chargers, Cards, and a few others...
Guest Vitamin X Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 Uh oh. Time to start trolling The Replacement! He likes more than one team! GET HIM!!
Red Baron Posted February 8, 2005 Report Posted February 8, 2005 The closest Cards fan I saw was in Buffalo. One of the person I met said he wasn't a Cards fan, just a big Emnitt Smith fan.
