Is Austin equal to Hogan?

If Hulk Hogan is the "Elvis Presley" of wrestling, then Steve Austin is the "Jerry Lee Lewis" of wrestling.

 

Hulk Hogan will probably always be remembered and his name will be used almost synonomously with wrestling. But I doubt the same can be said about Stone Cold.

In his country, Santo is far bigger than Hogan is in the United States.

Inoki and Rikidozan in Japan for that matter too.

 

As for Austin/Hogan, this week's Observer should be really good (it's one of the history issues he hasn't done in awhile).
