Jingus 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2005 El Santo He gonna do a legends match teaming up with Curt Hennig against Bruiser Brody and Jumbo Tsuruta? Or did they really mean his son, El Hijo del Santo?
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2005 I'm sure they meant his son.
Guest King Edge Report post Posted February 9, 2005 Sounds like one hell of a show. It's great to see some of the XPW cast back together again on a show. I miss me some XPW IF the show turns out great, I might just have to get it on DVD when it comes out. Luke vs. Grimes, Messiah vs. Psicosis, and the Semi-Main should be excellent matches. Guest jobsquad Report post Posted February 9, 2005 hopefully the shows come off but to me it seems a little like some of the socal feds which start off promising the moon and the stars then quickly fade away (or crash and burn hindenburg style)
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2005 Damn... I'd love to go to that, but without a car, I'm screwed. I could take the metro Link there, but I'd have no way of getting home afterwards since the trains don't run past 7 or so. I need to beg a friend to go with me or at least come pick me up. JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 Very interesting looking card, hopefully the show goes well and this promotion sticks around for a while. I don't really know a whole lot about lucha libre, but Altar Boy Luke vs. Vic Grimes should be brutal and I'm interested in anything that deals with Psicosis, he is probably my most favorite luchadore. LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 There were about 2,000 people at the show. Looks like their LA Times ad worked out well. Full results are up at the board on SoCalUncensored.com.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 Oh, I forgot to mention - I know there's someone on here who has said they're a big Pogo the Clown fan. I don't remember who, but for whoever they are, one note about the show is that Pogo made an appearance and beat up Cyanide. I don't think he's making a full-time return, from what he's told me - it's probably just a one-a-month thing where he'll work for FCW. I don't think he's going to be wrestling for any other promotions, although I could be wrong.

I used to mark out at the ECW Philly shows when Pogo would make his two minute appearance once a month.
LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 OK, cool. Sorry I forgot. Update: A couple people on SCU have testified that the 2,000 estimate is much LOWER than the real number. They're saying as high as 3 or 4,000.
