Guest DeputyHawk Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 Sean McCaffrey's detailed SuperBrawl III write-up from DOI This fed's becoming interesting fast. Quick results: NWA CyberSpace SuperBrawl Saturday III (2/5/05) 1--Thrillogy beat The Hall Brothers 2--Frankie Kazarian beat Chris Candido 3--Mason Raige beat Dan Barry 4--Tracy Brooks beat Cindy Rogers (post-match Jazz attacks Tracy, Women's Champion April Hunter makes the save to set up a future tag team match) 5--Bill Apter interviews promoter Billy Firehawk who says NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett will only get a shot at CyberSpace Champion Slyck Wagner Brown when Firehawk gives the go-ahead. Good angle to build up the CyberSpace title. 6--Josh Daniels won a 12-man Battle Royal for a future shot at Internet Champion Mike Tobin 7--The Solution beat America's Most Wanted to win the Tag Team titles (Chris Daniels & Elix Skipper attack AMW and let it be know that even though they're done as a team in TNA, they're coming after AMW in CyberSpace. Another hot angle.) 8--Amazing Red & The SAT beat Matt Striker, Nick Berk & Danny Jaxx in a six-man (The SAT turned heel on Red after the bell) 9--CyberSpace Champion Slyck Wagner Brown beat Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper in a three-way dance (America's Most Wanted interfere) 10--NWA Champion Jeff Jarrett beat Ron Killings in a good, clean match (post-match Jarrett beats up promoter Firehawk until Slyck Wagner Brown comes down to agree to a future title match.) What a fantastically booked show! Who woulda thunk it from the crap they were putting out just a few months back. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted February 10, 2005 Report Posted February 10, 2005 3--Mason Raige beat Dan Barry Dan Barry is my favorite wrestler...but he injured his shoulder pretty bad. Why is he wrestling?
Guest DeputyHawk Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 Where would I have seen Dan Barry before? I don't recognise the name.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted February 11, 2005 Report Posted February 11, 2005 NYWC and in some places in Jersey. Very talented Cruiserweight. Has had some great matches with Jay Lethal and Grim Reefer.
Eclipse Posted February 12, 2005 Report Posted February 12, 2005 Yeah, CyberSpace has been blowing up as of late, with their partnership with NWA:TNA. I think this was the first time the NWA:TNA title was defended in New Jersey, and also the first time EVER that the title was defended in the Northeast!
JustJoe2k5 Posted February 20, 2005 Report Posted February 20, 2005 Unless you count Philadelphia as the Northeast, because A.J. Styles defended the NWA title against Chris Sabin at RoH's WrestleRave '03 event. I checked out NWA Cyberspace's website and they already have some interesting matches signed for the next show, namely Jeff Jarrett vs. Slyk Wagner Brown. Matt Striker vs. Michael Shane in a 2/3 Falls match, April Hunter and Traci Brooks vs. Cindy Rogers and Jazz, Sonjay Dutt defending the Cruiser-X title against Grim Reefer in a ladder match, and Chris Candido vs. Mike Kruel. April Hunter and Traci Brooks together...I'm sorry, what was I saying? Should be a great show, someone will have to feel us in on the results and possibly a review. And any promotion that uses Mike Tenay as a heel, has my seal of approval.
