Slickster 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 My poorly booked title reign nomination is for one not yet mentioned. I would say WCW's Women's Cruiserweight Champion. I don't remember who won the tournament, but this was a big sham. WCW held the tournament over several weeks in 97 or 98, and I believe held the finals on a PPV. Wasn't that a feud between Madusa and Oklahoma? Speaking of which, remember when they made Jackie WWE Cruiserweight champion? There was someone who was so embarassingly unover, and they turfed her not long after. Madusa held the WCW Cruiserweight Title, not the Women's Cruiserweight Title. Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 WWE never knew what to do with the Lightheavyweight title. They left it on Taka for a year and forgot about it. Christian's first match on TV and he wins it from Taka. Gill's first match as Gillberg and he wins it from Christian..title is forgotten for 16 months or so. Essa Rios debuts...and wins the title from Gill. Jerry Lynn's first match (against Crash)...WINS THE TITLE!
KingPK 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2005 This is simply a flawed comparison, if only because Flair didn't sleep with Dusty Rhodes to keep his spot. Thanks a lot for THAT image, Loss. Anyway, Jericho's Undisputed title reign ranks at the top for me. It seemed at the time like they were at least salvaging SOMETHING out of the Invasion mess (uniting the two most recognized titles in North America, if not the world), but after his Rumble match with Rock, that was two of the worst months of buildup I have ever seen. I mean, really. Jericho and Stephanie completely hated each other for two YEARS, and all of a sudden Jericho's her errand boy? And then he's shunted to the sidelines so we can see HHH and Steph fight over a DOG?
