Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 Inc, you live here in Jacksonville, right? maybe you can answer me this: when people get their driver's licences down here, do they have to take an actual driver's test? or do they just issued them in the mail when they hit 16? 'cause i'll be damned if even half the people in this fucking city can drive. and on a related topic...are using turn signals illegal? because no one uses them, not even cops. thanks in advance. People can't drive for shit here, it's known. Only Orlando is worse.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 True story: I first masturbated when I was 13. I first masturbated to Grace Under Fire. Anyways, I ordered Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Its much better than the first film and I recommend it if you like the genre. That skinny black dude that was Ice Cube's co-actor in the movie All About the Benjamins is in it and adds the occasional humor to it that it needs to keep it from just another horror flik. It is suspenseful and somewhat gory, but overall just a fun movie. Also, it has Mila Jovavich buckass naked at the end. The chick that plays Jill Valentine is also the hottest woman on the face of the planet. There wil be no arguing this, only accepting it.
Guest Vitamin X Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 I'd argue Kate Beckinsale is better looking. Funny how Inc asks people not to focus solely on asking music questions so everyone turns to movie questions. What the fuck. Anyways, it's getting close to midnight and my chances at having a sociable evening out seem to be getting dim by now, so I've decided to have a beer tasting evening. Seeing as you are a bit of a beer aficionado, what do you recommend I try to get at this time of night? I know quite a few fine wine and spirits places open that sell fancier beers, so give me about 5 or so to check out. I'm also more of a lager than ale person. Not much for dark stuff., but I'll give it a shot.

Beers I've lately enjoyed: Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout, Spaten Optimator, Sea Dog Raspberry Wheat Ale, Boddingtons (only on tap; I don't care for the canned variety)
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 The Heineken Dark is alright—much better than regular Heineken, but that's not saying much.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 About a week ago, I drank the Monty Python Grail Ale. Extremely crisp and smooth; worth checking out in spite of its gimmicky nature.
Nighthawk Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 MrRant said Heineken was good, but I've yet to try it. I'm still a novice on beer. I've still got the Labatt Blue in the fridge from the last time I bought some... it's rare I want to drink beer at home, and when I'm out it's hard liquor or nothing. When it's gone I'll try something new. Sam Adams did sound good in general, but it's the image I think.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 IDRM shares the same drinking habits as me. Jaws just started 20 minutes ago on Turner Classic Movies if anybody is interested. Having said that is this Stven Spielberg's best film? If not then what is and give your top 5 Spielberg films as I'm just curious.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 Sam Adams isn't bad, but I rarely drink it. The white ale I mentioned earlier is good, but it tastes just like Blue Moon and Hoegaarden. Might as well get one of those. In my opinion, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the finest American-produced beer on the market.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 I've still got the Labatt Blue in the fridge from the last time I bought some... Do you like it? Try Moosehead. It's the superior Canadian beer, as far as ones you're likely to find in Florida go. edit: It's a lager, too, so there's another lager I like.
Hunter's Torn Quad Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 What's the number one television show in the whole wide world ?

I find him too syrupy and preachy.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 What's the number one television show in the whole wide world ? Are you asking what my favorite program is, or the identity of the highest-rated one? I'll assume the former. Oh, and currently running or of all time? The former would be Arrested Development; the latter would be Mystery Science Theater 3000.

I used to drink Corona (mainly cause they mention it in rap songs and my friends drink it) and I definitely like it better than that. I've not had enough fine beers to truly compare, but I will give Moosehead a try.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 godthedog, didn't you totally wanna bang Jean Seberg in Breathless, in spite of her horrible nature?
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 The only beer I've ever really enjoyed is Michelob(sp?) genuine draft. I believe that's what it was. Came in a flat-gold colored can. My father calls it "Pelican piss" but I enjoy it, especially when dropping shots of Southern Comfort into it.
godthedog Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 1. schindler's list 2. e.t. 3. raiders of the lost ark 4. jaws 5. empire of the sun godthedog, didn't you totally wanna bang Jean Seberg in Breathless, in spite of her horrible nature? i sorta did, but not totally. i did fall head over heels in love with anna karina, in all her various incarnations. i'd STILL do her, i don't care if she's over 60.

godthedog Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 i walked out of 'a.i.' after about 40 minutes. once jude law started dancing on the water, i was outta there.
Nighthawk Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 Cool. Hey, I've got Arrested Development season one on right now. Which is your favorite character? Mine is Tobias but I'm a Mr. Show fanboy so that's no great shake.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 The ending to A.I. was horrid. I've never seen Contact so I can safely say thus far that A.I. has one of the worst endings ever if not the worst.

godthedog Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 the pedophilia confession scene in bergman's 'persona' gave me weeks of masturbatory fantasies of bibi andersson. 60s european art movies are really all about the fuckable young actresses. moreso than american movies even, cause the foreignness makes them more exotic and intelligent.
Guest Failed Mascot Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 The worst movie ever from start to finish is Battlefield Earth. I complained my way to 2 free movie passes from the theater manager.

Jean Seberg was an American! but an american in paris who speaks french is more exotic than fuckable than a regular american. seberg's career was famously bombing in america because she seemed to not have any personality. godard took that kind of vapid "aura" about her, and made it natural and cute and sexy. general point being, them euro art directors adored their young actresses and really knew how to give them sexy personalities and magnetism and what not.
Nighthawk Posted February 13, 2005 Report Posted February 13, 2005 L. Ron Hubbard is seriously a hero of mine.
Giuseppe Zangara Posted February 13, 2005 Author Report Posted February 13, 2005 It wasn't until I was thinking about Breathless a couple of hours after watching it that I realized the truly cruel nature of her character, so blinded was I by her charisma.
