Guest Posted May 13, 2002 Report Posted May 13, 2002 ugh....I think it's fairly simple to assume, that once you find some sort of dirt on a wrestler you don't fancy, you will cling onto that dirt as fact, and that my friends, is why this arguement is so fucking never-ending. HHH entertained/entertains me, as does/did Austin, and that's all that really should fucking matter. Wow. Someone actually suggested we agree to disagree, more or less. Would that work? Probably not. Its a nice thought, though.

You'd think if Triple H learned that lesson he wouldn't miss this one, no matter how much hubris he has. You would think he might have realized that he's no Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin in terms of charisma and isn't going to carry the company on his back. But judging from the way his character as been portrayed since he returned, we might have another Bret Hart on our hands. WHOA Killer!!!!! How can you compare the Politics Triple H plays to Bret Hart? Nothing even close! I've never heard about Bret EVER holding other talent down! Also, Bret did pretty much carry the whole company between 92 and 96.

I've never heard about Bret EVER holding other talent down! Also, Bret did pretty much carry the whole company between 92 and 96. I mentioned Bret Hart because he has a rep for becoming a mark for his own character and believing his own hype. That's why I brought Bret Hart up and compared him to Triple H. The booking since Triple H has come back leads me to think he's entering that Bret Hart zone of falling in love with his own character. I wasn't comparing them in terms of their politics.
