King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 Okay. I've been having laptop problems for a while. Blue screen comes up, power cuts out, takes three or four attempts to start up sometimes. So, obviously I'm trying to work around it until I get get it taken for a check-up. But as I was working earlier, I get this little yellow triangle with an '!' in the midle popping up, telling me that My Documents (C:) was corrupted and that I should run Chkdsk. Or..something. I tried opening My Documents and again, it tells me it's corrupted, can't be read. And, it's times like these I wish I'd listened in Computer Studies. Or, that we'd done something worthwhile in Computer Studies. Any ideas/advice?
Dr. Tom 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2005 I'd run chkdsk like it's advising you to do. That can fix sectors which are logically bad, and move data away from sectors which are physically bad.
