The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 Bambi will roll in tar until he is black, pierce his budding antlers, and then start listening to Linkin Park. Thumper will freebase and have lots of sex.

CBright7831 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2005 It would have made more sense considering the look he gives Bambi when they first meet. Funny thing is, on SNL a few years ago, they parodied Disney releasing a Bambi 2 sequel (David Spade was the voice of Thumper, Jared Fogle made a special appearance, and Bambi beat up some terrorists) and I remember thinking "Nah, there's no way in hell Disney would ever release a Bambi sequel". The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 Bambi 3 should be a cartoon remake of "KIDS"

CBright7831 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 @ Godzilla. Anyway, judging by the first picture, I'd say this movie starts off moments after Bambi's mom gets blasted away.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 I think the best Disney DTV sequel has been Stitch The Movie, which was the segue from Lilo & Stitch to "Lilo & Stitch: The Series." Very, very good, but maybe that's just because I love Stitch.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 The only time I've ever agreed with using Disney movie characters outside of their original movies was from the TV Series "House of Mouse" Because that was just harmless fun.
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2005 I actually somewhat liked Lion King 1 1/2. AHHHHHHH! I hated that movie, and it made me want to cry that it won the DVD Exclusive Award for Best Screenplay.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 The only time I've ever agreed with using Disney movie characters outside of their original movies was from the TV Series "House of Mouse" Because that was just harmless fun. What about Who Framed Roger Rabbit? With Roger Rabbit though, you only had up until a certain time period (sometime in the 40s, IIRC. Don't remember exactly when, havent seen the movie in a long time) With House of Mouse...anything from Snow White to...um...whatever was most recent at the time...was up for grabs. Plus, House of Mouse had The Phantom Blot appear on it. You can't go wrong with the Phantom Blot.
CBright7831 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2005 UPDATE: Apparently, the kid who voiced Nemo, Alexander Gould, is going to be the voice of Bambi in this movie.
CBright7831 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 I just watched the preview of the movie on the Bambi DVD,and it looks I'll wait and see. I'm surprised it's being released in Spring 2006, when by the looks of things, it's near completion.

I think he was the one who tried to steal the invisible jet. Kingdom Hearts (video game) = another good Disney cross-over effort.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 The only time I've ever agreed with using Disney movie characters outside of their original movies was from the TV Series "House of Mouse" Because that was just harmless fun. What about Who Framed Roger Rabbit? You should have made a space between "Rabbit" and "?" or italicized the title... because the actual title doesn't contain the "?" I'm a nitpicky bastard. The book that movie is based on however...simply rocks.
