AboveAverage484 Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 I had a speaker problem on my school computer but now by home computer has an audio problem. Problem being it doesnt work. Period. Nothing works, Jukebox, WM Player, Real Audio, DVDs, you name it. Here's the message I get: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." I've tried the basic stuff (check connections, settings, etc.) and even tried some advanced stuff I saw on some other forums but have come up stumped. Help me, please!
Guest Fook Posted February 28, 2005 Report Posted February 28, 2005 This used to happen to me on my old comp, but I'd just restart and the problem would disappear.
AboveAverage484 Posted February 28, 2005 Author Report Posted February 28, 2005 This used to happen to me on my old comp, but I'd just restart and the problem would disappear. I've tried a couple times but nothing works. Now I have the pleasure of two computers whose sound is fucked up in some way.
