The Best WrestleMania Card

Ok well after RAW last night i tried to figure out what the WM card would be and of course we only have 4 matches set so it was a little hard, but I think I came up with the best card. It is reasonable and every match could be built up enough.

 

Batista vs Triple H (World Title)

-Obviously this is already being built up, just continue how they are going.

 

John Cena vs JBL (WWE Title)

-Also being built up, I would limit the interaction between the two until WM.

 

Kurt Angle vs HBK

-Will start being built up in the next few weeks, have HBK show up on Smackdown next week. Other than that, have the two talk about the match on their own shows, but dont have any more physical interaction.

 

Randy Orton vs Undertaker

-Orton shows up on Smackdown this week, giving Taker an RKO during a match. This starts to establish Orton as the heel. Then in the coming weeks, have Taker try to scare Orton on RAW, with the lights going out and his gong ringing. Then the last RAW before Mania he can show up on RAW and tombstone Orton.

 

Paul London vs Chavo Guerrero (Cruiserweight title)

-This is just starting to be built up after London's attack last week..have them face each other in a few tag/6 man matches on SD with their one on one match being at WM.

 

Shelton Benjamin vs Mohammad Hassan (IC Title)

-Now that Benjamin is done with Snitsky, have Hassan answer an open challenge from Benjamin next week and have him lose, but not cleanly. This can eventually set up a rematch for WM, maybe with Diavari banned from ringside.

 

Trish Stratus vs Christy Hemme (Women's title)

-Make this match an evening gown match or something so that they dont have to have any more diva segments on the show. This way Christy can win w/o being a better wrestler than Trish.

 

Regal/Tajiri vs La Resistance or some other heel team. (World Tag titles)

-Get someone to take the belts from the champs, but hopefully not La Res again.

 

Jericho vs Benoit vs Edge vs Christian vs Eddie vs Rey (Ladder match for #1 contendership)

-Whoever wins gets a title shot on their show. Eddie can turn heel on Rey after they lose the tag titles before WM. Jericho calls Long, asking him to send two of his best SD superstars to the match.

 

Bashams vs Reigns/Jindrak vs Haas/Holly vs Dupree/Suzuki vs Booker/Jordan vs Dudleys

-Have one of the first two teams win the titles. Then Long can say he is having a 6 team turmoil at WM and the first 5 teams to sign up get the shots. Booker can go to Long and say he wants in but he doesnt have a partner. Jordan walks in for something and Long tells them they will team at WM. Their disliking of each other causes them to lose at WM.

 

Kane/Big Show vs Snitsky/Heidenreich

-Have TBS start a short fued w/ Heidenreich. Snitsky and Heidenreich already have had interaction with each other. Put all the crap in one match.

 

I think this is the best card they could make out of what they have. The only other options I see are the battle royal with Kane,Big Show, Snitsky, Heidenreich, and a few guys out of the SD turmoil match, and adding benjamin and hassan to the Ladder match, make it for the IC title, and have Eddie vs Rey.

They could do this. Edge wins the match, then he goes to Smackdown! via the draft and there you have a credible contender for John Cena when Cena wins the WWE Title. Good idea?

That would have been a good card for WM. They should have done more with the Booker T/Eddie G. connection, they didn't even fight each other on PPV. Haas versus Benjamin would be weird, because it would make one title look weaker then the other.

Isn't already obvious that WWE sees Haas weaker than Benjamin with their pushes on each show? Not to mention Benjamin did beat Haas in the Smackdown Gauntlet match post WM XX.
