Guest Doomsault Report post Posted March 2, 2005 Okay, I've got one of those CD players in my car that will show the name and album of the music you are listening to on the screen. I've been trying to make an mp3 cd for weeks. First I make a folder, next I put each song that I want on the cd into it's own seperate folder inside of the "master" folder. Yes they are all in mp3 format too. This usually works put fine but when I play the cd some tracks are fragmented, I mean seperated into two tracks like one starts at the beginning of the song and the other is the last three seconds or so. Not all of the songs do this, just about three or four on the cd. Other than that I'm not having any problems. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? And just in case you didn't read the title, I'm using Roxio as my burning program.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 The files might just be corrupted. I sometimes get that happen when playing mp3 files. Works fine on some players, not on others. Are these downloaded files or self burned?
razazteca 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2005 I believe the problem has to do with the bit rate of the files because it seems that 128bit is the prefered bitrate for Roxio and if it is higher than such than it will corrupt the end and/or begining of CD. Get another program.
Guest Doomsault Report post Posted March 3, 2005 Are these downloaded files or self burned? These are files I ripped directly from the CD onto my computer and all of the files on this particular CD have 128 bitrate.
