King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2005 Seeing as everyone did Zero Hour feedback before me (and said what I was going to say)... - Well, the Happy Couple are no more. But apparantly, Drek loves Chris Stevens, so maybe they'll become the replacement. It'd certainly be character development. Anyway, here comes Hoff. And of course, here comes Josie, who will likely appear in 2/3 segments tonight. Drek vs. Hoff...winner faces Axel. It's a WM X flashback! And, as such, I'm calling an Axel v. Crystal match to open the show, ala Bret/Owen. You heard it here first. Hoff and Stevens in a Cage Match next week? Erm...deja vú anyone? - Who the hell throws European uppercuts in a fight? Seriously. It's like when my friend got in a legit fight and tried to Rock Bottom the other guy. He was twelve. TWELVE! Hey look, it's JOSIE! Again. You know...PRL reminds me of someone. Erm, anyway, Steel Cage Match at Anglepalooza. And already, the heat for my AM announcement has been stolen twice. - Oh look, my stuff. Big cool stuff. - Josie sure got back to her office quick. 4 for 4 for the GM! Head Of Security? Makes me wonder what his duty will be. Then, it makes me laugh because I said duty. Heh heh...duty. - This Killings stuff looks interesting. Apart from the fact he implied wrestling was fake, like, 3 times. UNACCEPTABLE! Also, it loses points for the lack of Josie. - PRL/Panther in a Bra And Panties Match? I'd be morbidly interested in seeing that, just to see how you pull it off. So to speak. Err, yeah, heated promo with a rather odd ending. - MAH BABY GUUURRLL~! This should be good. Interesting to see that Crystal's playing the 'misunderstood heel' more than the 'bitchy heel'. Which is good. I like bitchy characters like Trish don't get me wrong, but it wouldn't make sense for Crystal to turn bitchy instantly. It looks, from this, like Crystal could be a very good heel. Although, I'm a little saddened there were no little dick jokes. All female/male conflicts should include jokes about dick size. It's protocol. - Is this the first OAOAST segment to feature suggested sadomasochistic activity? Because I can't remember Zack getting whipped by 6 foot women in leather either? And tension with the Love Doctors? Interesting. - Man, it just isn't Axel's month, huh? All hell breaking loose again? Where's Carl Winslow when you need him? Very intense promo between Axel, Hoff and Drek here, which just makes AngleMania so much more intriguing. - Was I the only one to write a match? Another promo, this time with the reunited Cornette and The Midnights. Cornette is written down to a tee, seemingly, as always. And, yeah, I stand by my last feedback and say Ned can be a breakout star if it ever came down to it. Cornette owning The Saints and Synth Esizer's names. Awesome. And again, another heated beatdown segment. It's almost a pity there's a lot of them on this show, because they kinda lose their edge a little. - I'm one of the biggest GPX marks there is. You don't need to ask my thoughts. And with the COD, of course, it becomes pun city. Puns are fun. And so is this promo. It's a good job I'm not drinking at the moment (although from my writing, you'd figure I was), because my screen would be getting sprayed from the hilarity. Black T and the NNMX? Hmm, the tag division gets confusing again. - Hey! It's SpongeBob SzechsteinPants! Short and sweet, it seems the Dude isn't dead yet. "I Will Survive" indeed. That was 70's, right? - Ooh, another match. I'm beginning to worry about Josie. I haven't seen her for a few segments, and...we might need to call a search team out or something. Are Blonde and Faqu a reference to anything? Should I remember them? Because I don't. Nice match, with Zack getting pinned again by a female. Continuity good. JOSIE IS ALIVE!! Man, I was worried for a moment there. Black T turning on Zack...I guess I knew it was coming, but I didn't expect it all the same. Again, redhot beatdown segment that would have been even hotter if it hadn't been preceeded by 5 or 6 others. I like the touch of nobody coming to help Zack. Very nice. Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted March 4, 2005 Very promo and skit heavy show, but to be expected coming off PPV and with AM approaching. - Pretty cool opening with the AM announcement. Poor Drek. I'm still backing him to come out as champ, however. -More brawling from PR and Panther...I like the intensity of this feud, I just wonder how its going to keep going over the next month when we've already had a crowd riot and big backstage brawl. But Im sure I will find out. -Interesting deal with the former X champions returning and Rodez's AM match. I wasn't expecting this...Tony?....Zack? -I like the idea of Killings getting heat from the lockerroom for his comments but...how does it work when it comes to him having a match, does he make it obvious its "a role" too? Again, I'm sure I will find out. -I like PR's combination of manic evilness and slapstick. Imagine HHH getting a piggyback out from Flair after a promo. Works for me. -Crystal selects excellent new music, which automatically puts me in an appreciative mood for her promo, and its a good one. I liked the "I’m a real person who deserves to have real emotions!" line, as we've only really seen happy plucky babyface Crystal before. -Ow, Drek really psyched poor Axel out here. And Hoff-Axel begin some tensions too, which are needed if they're going to possibly fight at Anglemania. Good segment. -NNMX and Cornette are here! And Cornette has screwed the Saints one more time. So are they TAFKA Saints now? Or do they get a stupid symbol? Another authentic Cornie promo, and I'm really looking forward to how the Saints-NNMX feud climaxes. -I had a thought that the promos between GPX and CoD would be chemistry-tastic, yes that is a word, and I was right! Black T's and NNMX's appearances seemed a little random, but I guess it shows they don't want to be forgotten in the tag title hunt. -Hurrah, the Dude's not dead! And while I'll be glad to see another Calvin-Dude match, among the hinted at matches here was something I'd love to see: Calvin-Drek. Make it so, number one! -T.O.E. lose again... and it's all too much for Black T. Nicely brutal beatdown, and as K.C. said, no one helping Zack was an excellent touch, as was the slight hint of crowd enthusiasm for his attempted come back against Dan. Black T being evil heel bastards to close the show? Can we have that every week?
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 4, 2005 -Hurrah, the Dude's not dead! And while I'll be glad to see another Calvin-Dude match, among the hinted at matches here was something I'd love to see: Calvin-Drek. Make it so, number one! When me and Cal first started working together one of the main things I wanted coming out of this was for Cal's character to be re-established as a top level guy so he could be thrown back into the World Title mix. Now while the 70s Dude and Cal thing aint over yet I think its getting to the point where Cal can be seen as a justifiable threat again and that's great seeing as how I love his work. Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 4, 2005 Nice opening to the show. The Anglemania Main Event(s) are intriguing and can be very good if pulled off right. I'm happy to see Hoff get another shot and Hoff/Stevens Cage II: Hoff Bugaloo is going to have a difficult time topping the original match...still I'm psyched. So far the PRL and Panther brawl while really not being set-up spectacularly has been good. More brawl and not so much talking...although this wasn't needed PANTHER LET ME AT HIM! I WANT TO KICK HIS ASS! PRL Why you holding me back? Let me go kick his candy ass! Running his mouth! Who does he thing he is?! I swear, when I get my hands on him, I will lay the smackdown on his jabrony ass! Panther sounds like a profanity laced Cowardly Lion when he first makes his appearance in the movie and PRL sounds like a Poor Man's Rock. I'd really like to see him gain his own identity. Besides those little things and the over use of profanity it was a good segment. The action wasn't over shadowed by a severe amount of commentary and it made its point. If I could give you a sticker that read "Way To Go!" then I would. Another good showing by KC whom I'm starting to feel sorry for not having a big time feud. Such a good writer and deserving of one too. I know if The 70s Dude were free I'd love to work a program with KC, but alas there are big plans for The Dude~ Still the AngleMania match will be good and I hope SuperStar will be helping with the writing. The other people involved still work with the OAOAST but you don't see Supes...I'm hoping that changes though. Josie with her Super Speed cause Hoff is a dodo and doesn't realise what he's done~ Now I'm intrigued by the Killings character. Infact it gives me an idea to which I must talk to Cal again~! I'll finish feedbacking later. For now I'm going to play some MVP Baseball and then go out to dinner with the family at Pub99. They got a $75 gift certificate and were nice enough to invite me. Prime Rib motha' fuckas!!!
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 4, 2005 I didn't like the segment between PRL and Popick. PRL's character is totally different in it then what it was earlier. Popick seems like a worried housewife seeing her husband off to war. Hopefully PRL makes it out of the Steel Cage match alive so they can run off, make babies, and live far away from all of this drama. CanadianChick knows how I feel about her promo as we spoke about it on AIM. It helped define her as more of a heel. I of course said more than that when talking to her but I'm too lazy to get back into it. She knows and that's all that matters. Our lower rung Tag Division is real...strange I would think at this point Axel would be too infuriated with Drek to even let him speak. Its not that I didn't like this part, its just I didn't agree with it from a psychological stand-point. Hoff's clubberin' saved it until the sappy moment. All of these guys have screwed one another over in the past weeks be it purposely or inadvertently. I just don't get them talking to one another all calmly. ok, now I really gotta go to dinner. Feedback later.

All of these guys have screwed one another over in the past weeks be it purposely or inadvertently. I just don't get them talking to one another all calmly. When you're as miserable as Axel is supposed to be, sometimes you just simply can't get violent. You don't have the fighting streak in you. And considering the way Drek was going over Axel's history and really degrading him, coupled with Axel's depression already, he was just simply speechless. Man, why I always gotta be explaining my segments to you? Feedback later. I'm good for it!
KingPK 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2005 CABOOSE Like it was ever in doubt. You'd have been better off throwing Coach in there with him. COACH MAH BABY GUUUUU.... CABOOSE Oh shut the hell up for God's sake! Classic. Anyway brief thoughts: good setup for the AM main event(s) in the opening segment and later on in the night. The Joy of X match sounds REALLY interesting to read. Count me in the people that are wondering where this Prince Killings character is going (heh, Michael Mole). Crystal's heel promo was great, as it was heelish, but it made sense logically. Big props for the main event and subsequent events with Black T "removing" Zack from their group. Looks like I started reading regularly again at the right time (no Hoff, I'm not coming back yet).
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 5, 2005 I've been miserable and still violent, so there. Anyways with a tummy full of prime rib and mashed tators its back to the feedbacking~! Nice massive Tag Team thing. Man Alix is insane and just fun to read. Oh, and seeing GPX reminds me of my day at the mall on Wed. As I walked in to exchange one game and pick up another from the local EB I saw 3 guys who were literally living the 2-Cool gimmik. One of the guys was accompanied by a short, chubby, and peroxide blonde goth chick that I guess was his girlfriend. It was hilarious and I did everything in my power to just keep from laughing at them. Cal knows about how I feel he's handled his part of this whole feud so I'll skip that. “Don’t sell it for aids!” Alix warns him. He assures her he won’t. Awesome. I also liked her reaction of "Oh poopies" after she didn't get a three count. It went from humorous to serious quite well too and the match overall was very entertaining. I don't like seeing Malibu headed towards a face change though. He was a legit top level heel and right now the only Main Event singles one besides Drek. I also think it'll lead to something else that's more backstage than show and it just leaves me going blah. Overall pretty good show although lacking the match depth. Tony149 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2005 An excellent to-the-point opening segment. I was expecting Drek, Hoff and Axel to face each other somehow at AM, but it certainly wasn't the way it played out on the show. I guess that means we know the opening match at AM. Nice brawl backstage between Panther and PR. When I read KC's comments about why European Uppercuts were being thrown in a fight, I didn't really understand it until I read the thing for myself, and I gotta say, it was unintentional funny, IMO. Joise appears in 3 straight segments. Triple H would be proud. Fun, little Rodez match and interesting concept for AM. I like it. Make it 4 straight Joise appearances in a row! And the girl showed some tremendous speed by getting back to her dressing room after appearing in the arena. Didn't get the Carl Winslow deal. I mean, I know it's the dude from Family Matters, but I can't.... Oh, the hell with it. Prince Killings reminds me of something Vince Russo wanted to do in WCW. Remember when he wanted to hire actors and train them to become wrestlers? Good promo. I like Killings referring to Triple C as Mole, Carlton and Benny Hill. TPR showed a lot of fire in his promo w/Popick. Great segment w/Crystal and Axel. From Jingus drinking a bubbly red liqud, to The Sadist being spanked, I thought the Hell's Hitmen promo was great. A little tension between the Docs. I wonder where that's headed. Very good segment involving Axel, Stone and Hoff. I like how Axel was getting a bit testy with Hoff. I thought the Jim Cornette/NNMX promo was one of the best I've written yet. I watched old Cornette promos and read some of his shoot promos and interviews posted online to get a better feel for him, and when I read Patty's C.O.D. promo at ZH, the Arn Anderson comment stuck out at me and I remembered reading Cornette's rant on Raw concerning Flair and Anderson in General Wrestling and everything took off after that. Now that I think about it, I probably should of saved the Logan beat down until next week. I already told Patty his C.O.D./GPX promo was great, but I'll say it again: It's great. I liked Calvin's promo and the Dude screwing with his dressing room. The main event came off better than I thought. I got Zack's PM late so I didn't have as much time as I thought to add onto the match. Had I known the show wouldn't have been posted until the next morning, I probably would of taken my time finishing it up rather than writing a couple of paragraphs and signing off on it. Then again, I have no idea who James Blonde and Faqu are. Overall, pretty good show this week. It was promo heavy, but like Eski said, it's usually that way after a PPV. The early card for AM is looking pretty good.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted March 6, 2005 Feedback later. I'm good for it! Lies. All lies. On the plus side I don't have to spend much time next week feedbacking if it keeps up like this. I can just sit back and watch some Spring Training.
Patty O'Green 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2005 Here’s a tiny amount of feedback. In random order as always. Ned’s a man after my own heart, we both carry compacts! I think its important to maintain the beauty I was blessed with. Should we be worried that Simon totes lip stick around with him? Great beat down and good promo by Corny. Jane Fonda wannabe? Ha! A singles feud between Ned and Logan would be pretty cool. But it ain’t gonna happen. Mascot is right, the lower rung of the tag division is strange. But then again I think the only tag team with normal personalities is Black T. Everyone else is way out there. As for the LD promo, I don’t think the Doctors are breaking up but it was cool that one understood what a horrible mess they’ve got themselves into while the other was still delusional. Carl Winslow? Someone needs to create a Steve Urkel character as his comic foil. Or his deputy. Chris Stevens Vs Hoff in a cage! Stevens better win in order to validate his existence. If this were a real fed I’d accuse Hoff of holding Stevens down. Let the man live! I didn’t know that Alix would get the winning pin in the ME. I guess good things do happen when you volunteer to write part of a match at the last minute! Tony did you write the finish? The beat down, in a show full of ‘em, was well written. Why was Josie out there though? I didn’t understand that. If this was real life, I’d cheer for Crystal because her reasons for dumping Axel are totally valid. Great promo. Crystal 4 champ! In high school I saw some kid try to give another kid a standing moonsault in a fight. Not the smartest idea and a lot stranger then a European Uppercut. Anyway, I’d prefer to see Popick as a wrestler as opposed to PR’s manager type dude, but what are you gonna do? It keeps him “on screen” as opposed to having him randomly appear every couple of weeks to drop some cryptic hints. Not enuff matches. Watch, next week we’ll have like six matches. I hope you all die. Then we wouldn’t have any matches. Tony, why did we have Black T sneak attack GPX? I don’t remember what the reason was. Make it so, number one! Dork!!!!!!!! NYU 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2005 Don't feel bad, KC. Patty not only didn't give me feedback on my segments, but he ALSO said that he wants to see Crystal as champion too. Double hurt, bro. And I thought we were tight.
Tony149 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2005 (edited) Tony did you write the finish? Tony, why did we have Black T sneak attack GPX? I don’t remember what the reason was. Yes. Zack told me want he wanted and I wrote it. The powerbomb into hurricarana spot was originally for the 6 person tag at Zero Hour (Logan and Holly), but when I rewrote the match for the final time I cut it out, choosing to save it for the 8 person tag this week on HD. Speaking of the postmatch beat down. While I haven't read it all yet, it looked like Zack kept a majority of what I wrote a couple of months back. BT are still pissed they lost to the GPX at ZH, and to setup the 8 person tag for this week. I'm thinking BT-GPX will become, if it hasn't already, the OAOAST's version of the Midnight Express vs. Rock 'n' Roll Express. Just throw them out there and people will eat it up. Little note on the NNMX. You know how every tag team usually has that one guy who'd most likely become a star? Well, when I created the NNMX Sarcastic Simon was supposed to be that guy, but they hardly spoke during interviews. Narcissistic Ned was a name I threw together for no real reason. I think I was watching a re-run of the Simpsons and came across the word "narcissistic" online later that night and put two and two together. So NNB has Ned Flanders to thank for his first name.
