Fökai 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 This should've been a no-brainer for me...   My favorite player of all time...Greg Maddux.  EDIT: Yeah, either way for the PM thing is okay with me, Vern.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 You get four Greg Maddux's? Great pick, and Maddux is one of my favorites as well. Â Since he's gone. I had Maddux has an one of my pm'd picks to Al.
Fökai 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 Since he's gone. I had Maddux has an one of my pm'd picks to Al. I'm always worried that my picks won't stand up to the others.  Thing is, I wasn't too sure that Maddux would come back to me in the third round, which was a good move on my part. Hopefully, at least one of the other two that I had considered will be there (hint: one pitcher, one batter).
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 I wouldn't worry about it. The first few rounds should be easy. It's when we're scrapping for good pitchers.
USC Wuz Robbed! 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 That's why I'm stockpiling on pitchers.
Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 I think my probable next pick, will fit perfectly to where i'm playing. Plus, I couldn't risk passing up one of my All-Time favorite players.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 Cena's Writer selects Hank Greenberg. Â Vern Gagne selects Mel Ott.
EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 That brings up Brian, myself, and Dr. Tom. And then the same three in reverse.

EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2005 Wow. I simply cannot believe this player fell to me. Â My second round pick is a Philadelphia legend. The greatest player in the history of the Phillies. 548 career home runs. 1,507 career walks. Three MVP awards. 10 Gold Gloves. 12 All-Star Selections. Â The Stroudsburg Poconos select 3B Mike Schmidt.
Guest Brian Report post Posted March 10, 2005 I figured he wouldn't escape you. I felt like I had to pick up Collins given the quality of 2B doesn't touch the top three.
