Orton's Immaturity

While having Orton break Undertaker's streak does have some risks to it, you have to take risks sometimes when it comes to who you give major wins to, or you risk things getting stale, which they have been for a while. And if not Orton this year, then you run the risk of having people less 'ready' next year.

In terms of risks, WWE took a pretty big one by running full speed with Orton mid last year and him not exactly succeeding with the ball. And quite frankly, it's less offensive for Taker to have a Mania winning streak left intact than to have that long streak snapped by a guy who would turn out to be nothing more than Lex Luger lite.

 

I don't disagree with your rationale, but I guess it comes down to I don't seeing 'it' in Orton at this point in time and my hunch is that Taker will be around for at least one or two more Mania programs. Sure, there's the chance the next person may be less qualified than Orton, and on that note, my only suggestion is that next time, WWE doesn't decide Taker's opponent like a month before the event.

first of all thats getting old ohhh can't debate Trivia OOoooOOOoO Just because im not salvating at the prospect of Taker losing doesn't mean Im some god damn blind mark. secondly Vyce came up with valid arguements without being a flamer so I much respect that than some guy just feeling like being an ass.

 

 

Back to the subject.

 

Now granted, I don't think orton has done anything specificially that was over the bar than any other wrestler in history exhibiting bad behavior.

 

But there are somethings to consider if he was us.

 

1) seeings how the company is hell bent to legitimize him, including putting the only 1 in the L collum for Taker then perhaps he should be grateful that the WWE and perhaps in some level Taker himself who would have to be ok with the jobbing (Vince does have the final decision I understand that, but before you get all pissy, The Undertaker has gotten out of those situations before, and this time round it seems he is rumor wise at least agreeable to take the loss)

 

2) if your given this "Golden Goose" of a rub perhaps you shouldn't try to negotiate and just accept it. The Undertaker is the Face of Smackdown and Orton a Face on Raw, but the thing is if anyone is gonna step up and declare they are going to bring down the Taker's record then that is a Heel thing to do. Orton doesn't want to go out there all heelish? Well you can't be buddy buddy about this. Lest your going to try an Ultimate Warrior vs Hogan match where both leave faces at the end. But too little time for that.

 

3) Whatever bad behavior your known for, have rumored of, and may have done...STOP IT! Damn it you are being pushed to the top for no apparent reason, stop pissing on the people who are elevating you by doing shit that makes you look bad and the company people look like Jackasses for supporting you.

 

 

Again in all this we don't quite know the outcome of this. perhaps Taker will in the end refuse to do it, and convince Vince so. So they have the Match somehow Taker wins, but the compremise that in the next PPV whichever show its for, They have that blow off rematch and Orton wins (Alla Cena, Brock)

 

Or... Taker does go down and Randy gets to be a face Legend killer for some reason. Taker still leaves the arena with a 12-1 and thats still an awesome record comparably to other superstars.

 

But more and more rumors and such goes down, more public opinion sways, and lets not kid ourselves 98.9999999 % the WWE creative team don't give two shits what their fans want most of the time, but in big angle events when people are paying attention, they will follow the pulse of the public and the outcome will be based on it (either for or against depending on what they are shooting for) Randy's ironclad win over the impossible grows a little bit less likely.

 

 

Almost comes down to a simple question which I pose to all of you. I know some of you are like me and don't think Orton should do it, Not because you have some favoritism to Taker as I do as a fan but because of Orton himself. While others are in favor...

 

Of all the people currently on the roster, do you believe Orton in all his antics all their attempts to push and fail, Truly deserve to be raised on the back and shoulders of Taker, like Mick foley broke himself to Lift up HHH?

I have been saying this to fellow fans for a while. Orton seriously is trying to put himself over as a ladies' man when it's getting more and more obvious his sexual immaturity at 24 years old is one way of staying in the closet. I know frat boys that aren't even as sad as him.

 

Seriously, anyone who acts like that is either not fully sane or not fully straight, and that goes for many of the boys in the lockerroom (JBL, I'm pointing in your direction).

Does anyone actually know why Test & Stacy broke up, or is everyone just presuming it was her dumping him because he lost his job? For all we know, he was a dick about it and said, "it's me or the wwe ... if you want to stay with me you've got to quit your job there" and she realized that he wasn't the one for her (or something equally lame) and ended it. Or maybe he broke up with her. Or he cheated on her. Or any of a million other things.

 

Stacy really isn't that hot at all and I will defend that point to the death. There really shouldn't be this much hassle over her.

To a lot of us she's the cutest girl on the roster.
