notJames Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Having seen When Harry Met Sally a multitude of times, I must say that Christy followed Meg Ryan's movements to a T. Too bad they had to dub in the sounds (and very noticeably, to boot). But for all intents and purposes, that was definitely on a par with the Basic Instinct[/i send-up. I wonder if they actually filmed it at Katz's Deli, or if they just built a set, because it looked pretty authentic. (Damn… now I'm hungry for a pastrami on rye…)
Jericholic82 Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 You know between this commercial and Maria getting beat up, it must have sounded to my neighbors like I was watching some bad porno. I wonder how little kids who watch WWE would react to this? Angle was gold, Christy still can't act. Can you say fired? I knew you could.
SuperJerk Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Angle was gold, Christy still can't act. Can you say fired? I knew you could. As if the WWE would fire someone right after they did a Playboy shoot... *remembers Sable* ...nevermind.
Guest LooneyTune Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Or someone they are paying $250,000... at least do nothing on TV than nothing at home.
Guest MikeSC Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 It would've rocked if Linda tried to fake an orgasm... ...but that likely would have struck too close to home for Vince. -=Mike
Brett Favre Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Am I the only one who used Angle's face in No Mercy (for N64) to create RVD? He does look like RVD.
Guest LooneyTune Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 RVD's face was quite easy to make in No Mercy I thought. Without the use of someone elses CAW I came up with a pretty good looking RVD.
Guest fanofcoils Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 I never saw when Harry Met Sally so I was thinking it was Seinfield (forgot about they are only doing movies) until Christy started having an orgasm. I also forgot Angle had a beard when I was thinking this.
AndrewTS Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 I never saw when Harry Met Sally so I was thinking it was Seinfield Ditto. It's also probably why I didn't think it was funny at all.

After the movie came out, the scene was shown and parodied all over the place. I was familiar with the scene without ever having actually seen the movie (I don't suspect a lot of WWE fans actually have).
