1234-5678 Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I know this topic is about a year or so late, but I was thinking about picking it up since I have a few extra bucks. Is it worth the money? Are there still places around to update the rosters and get scenarios and stuff like that?
Lightning Flik Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 Jax, wait till the next release of the game (which isn't far off) happens. It'll be out summer of 2005 to be honest. Go to www.greydogsoftware.com to find out more. [/shrill] Seriously, I would wait for the new. The original TEW wasn't bad, but the design scheme sucked for it. If you don't want to wait, pick up WrestlingSpirit instead. You create a wrestler and take him through the indies and make a living and stuff like that. You can download the demo if you'd like. Due to various reasons, Adam left .400 studios to go to GreyDog, if you were wondering why he's at this place.
1234-5678 Posted March 15, 2005 Author Report Posted March 15, 2005 I tried Wrestling Spirit, but all my matches took like a half hour to finish. I probably just sucked at it. Thanks for the update though, I will probably just wait for the new game.
Guest PlatinumBoy Posted March 15, 2005 Report Posted March 15, 2005 I guess this would be the place to put it, but I FINALLY got an A level match in Wrestling Spirit a little while ago. It was my guy, a Japanese middleweight with some highflying moves, big strikes, lots of cool submissions, lots of suplexes, and some big bombs--backdrop driver, top rope Exploder, etc. versus Yosuke Narita--who is essentially Lyger. It was no DQ, so I hit a backdrop driver onto a chair. Fun stuff.
