JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 This would definitely be big if it were to happen, The Rock would be willing to put over some of TNA's young talent. A.J. Styles vs. The Rock = Me ordering a TNA PPV.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 If Rock does come in, which will almost certainly not happen, it's no secret who he'll be asked to put over. It'll be the same guy that every big name who comes in to wrestle puts over.
Some Guy 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 There is no way Rock would go to TNA unless he's really pissed at Vince and just wants a WWE contract. If he went in an put Jarrett over it would just piss Vince off and not acomplish anything. If Rock really wants to wrestle he could call Vince and work out a deal of some sort where he'll agree to work at least 3 months straight of TVs and PPVs. If he doesn't do that he's pretty much useless to the promotion.
Guest dvkorn Report post Posted March 20, 2005 Like it would matter if Rock pissed off Vince... It's not like Rock isn't a huge enough name already that he wouldn't take him back in a heart beat... Look at Hogan numerous times, Austin, Bischoff.. Anyone he thinks he can make money with, he'll bring back in a second..
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 20, 2005 Hogan and Piper both realized one big thing when working with Vince. You screw him before he can screw you. Cause Vince won't even blink at the chance to screw you over if he gets it. So if the Rock goes to TNA as a "screw you" to Vince, odds are Vince would respect him a helluva lot more than if Vince were to do the screwing. When Vince screws you, it's basically over. Vince will NOT let someone have the last laugh on him. He just won't let that happen. Plus Rock doesn't even need Vince or the money anymore. It's a simple question; what does the Rock want to do? If the WWE won't give him the matches he wants and if TNA will, then whose to say he wouldn't go? It's not like Rocky is hurting for money right now or will EVER be hurting for money. Guest MikeSC Report post Posted March 20, 2005 It's not like Rock is hurting to work matches, either. If he doesn't work for the WWE, kids, he isn't going to work for anybody. -=Mike
