Hopefully, at least Boston College will win and cover, because I put the last $30 in my gambling account on them, and they're one of the few Sweet 16 teams I have left that wasn't picked by everyone else in the country. Looks like you just lost 30 bucks.

Basically, I've lost 6 Sweet 16 teams, but only one Elite 8. The good thing is that everyone else in my bracket here at school (there are about 20 of us) is in worse shape. One poor girl had Kansas beating Syracuse in the Final Four, and Kansas over Gonzaga in the championship. Ouch.

Illinois and Arizona are fine, so I might have the Great 8 matchup correctly in the Chicago region. I have Utah going all the way to the Great 8 against Duke, so I'm happy they're still alive.

I'm screwed next round anyways, with Gonzaga being eliminated, but now I may be completely out to lunch as far as the lower bracket of the Albuerquerque region goes. At least Kentucky won. I had Kentucky and Utah facing each other in the Sweet Sixteen, so that's good.

And god, this game is looking like DOUBLE OT. And here I thought that Zaga/Tech game was going to be the best of the second round.

I prefer baseball and maybe even football now, but even when basketball was my fave, I preferred pro to college. Despite that, I'm beginning to think that the NCAA Tournament may top the MLB playoffs as the most exciting time of year in sports.
