I'm such a big fan of the original that I'm curious how this one is recieved by those who have never seen it. The thing I can't get past is that Steve Carrell is FUNNY. Ricky Gervais was so painfully unfunny that it was hilarious...which was...after all...the point. In this version everyone in the office acts likes Michael isn't funny...but he is.
