Guest LooneyTune Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 The only time I come across the problem is either I'm too far down (or up) the page when searching a name or previously highlighted something and did a search without correcting it.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 The Californian selects P Bobo Newsom (Round 26) and OF Ken Griffey Sr.. Also, from now on no more picking players who debuted after 2002. Seriously, are you guys that stumped? Still waiting on the Man In Blak and Dr. Tomfor round 26, and nogoodnick, bravesfan, the Man In Blak, and Dr. Tom for round 27.
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Also, from now on no more picking players who debuted after 2002. Seriously, are you guys that stumped?
Guest LooneyTune Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 At least when I'm stumped I make a horrible pick of someone who's either past their prime or retired. (was tempted to pick Dallas McPherson, though )
Guest Brian Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I'm going to take Mule Suttles in the thirtieth round out of protest.
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Buck O'Neil says Mule Suttles should be in the HOF. That's a good enough source.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 I think he should be in the Hall as well. The problem is, if he were eligible, I would've autodrafted him or someone would've taken him long ago.
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Do we hold ofg on making our next round picks?
Guest Brian Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I would have probably taken him earlier too. For some reason I though he went in Round 5, but then I searched while doing the aol draft and realized he was still there, and I thought I was getting a big-tim steal. When does the next round start?
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 Right now. You may make your Round 28 picks.
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 (edited) Ok. I'll take LHP-John Tudor Edited April 2, 2005 by Vern Gagne
Guest LooneyTune Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 No need for pictures... I select OF/1B John Kruk to give motivational speeches before games with his brilliant logic .
Vern Gagne Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I've got an even twelve pitchers. 11 on the active roster. 6 Righties, and 5 lefties.
MARTYEWR Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 Just to put a grin on Al's face, I select OF Roy Thomas.
Jorge Gorgeous Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 OF/Pinch Runner Otis Nixon Instead of that dude Brian has.
Guest Brian Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I have him. Round 8. You can pick again.
Jorge Gorgeous Posted April 2, 2005 Report Posted April 2, 2005 I have him. Round 8. You can pick again. Word! I figured he was gone. Homey has good numbers. You made a good pick.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 Nogoodnick, you have another pick you can make.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted April 2, 2005 Author Report Posted April 2, 2005 Someone really needs to draft Mark Fidrych before this thing is over.
