ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 The only thing that will top that, for me, will be whenever Bret Hart goes in the HOF. I'm hoping next year, if Hart is inducted, they do it like they did with Piper and Hogan this year. "And joining these legends in the class of 2006 Hall of Fame..." *Opening Whine* "Bret...Hitman...Hart!"

AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 CBright: Come on, Vince would love to sell a Bret DVD, and rumors have been going around for a long time that Vince and Bret may have been patching things up a bit. If Vince sees dollar signs, he'll do it. Look at Piper. Oh, and Stallone sucked.

slimm44 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 I got the time mixed up but luckily caught the last half hour. Really good crowd, wish I could have been there. You know there had to be some people in the crowd who just wanted to get on with the show instead of cheering. But very historical. The secret is out though...the Big Show isn't that mean of a guy...lol. I'm watching the replay tomorrow
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Anytime he cut a "Joke", he said seriously like 2 seconds after when the crowd would start to laugh, resulting in silence. I didn't hear boo's though. Maybe one of those famous ears that hears "boo" and "(Silence)".

If Vince sees dollar signs, he'll do it. Look at Piper. Oh, and Stallone sucked. Bret has mentioned quite a few times he wouldn't come back to make Vince a profit or anything, just to give a real good bye speech to the fans. Also forgot Stallone was talking about himself a lot. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 Vince started the HOF in 95 or 96. He then forgot about it for a few years until last year. Come to thingk of it--I seem to recall hearing about them inducting Pedro Morales, Moolah, Ernie Ladd, Freddy Blassie, etc around that time. Is that about when they inducted Patterson? I may not remember because I'd never heard of him then. Does WWE have a site with all the inductees from the beginning anywhere?
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2005 "Patterson's already in." When'd this happen? Last year? 1996 Patterson was inducted CBright: It was started in 93, actually. Andre was the first inductee.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted April 3, 2005 The Hall of Fame Ceremony didn't start until 1994. Andre was inducted into it after he died and had some of his memorabillia (seen once or twice on WWF TV back in 94) of his in a certain area of Titan Towers.
