1234-5678 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2005 LinkMASSIVE NEWS ALERT: FREE SHOW FOR OUT OF STATE FANS Mike Hawes the 3PW General Manager is please to announce that for our April 9th show that if you possess an out of state driving license (i.e. not Pennsylvania) we will welcome you to The New Alhambra; The ECW Arena to see our show for FREE. The new manager of 3PW and the new CEO and The Blue Meanie want to reward those that travel to support our product the honor of not forking out any more than gas money and something to eat and treat themselves to a new T Shirt or DVD. We respect your support and we want you to feel a part of the FUTURE OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING. It has come to our understanding that we have many supporters from New York and as far a field as California where we have opened our new HQ and it is time for us to represent wrestling fans that give a damn. Mike Hawes stated, "We're all wrestling fans, and we're sick and tired of paying for half baked bullshit pay per views that cost $35 and have worse standards than independent wrestling shows. Myself, the new CEO and the spirit of 3PW, The Blue Meanie want to show our admiration to those that travel far and wide to be a part of our shows and I am honored that for the first time in wrestling HISTORY we offer something... for nothing to so many. Let me take this opportunity to express my love and gratitude to 3PW fans for keeping this company alive and now by rewarding your loyalty we want to take the company to the next level and we need our 'soldiers' to do so. Many other companies will try and replicate us and copy our innovative idea's but from here on in there is a new leader with new ideas in our wonderful sport, pro wrestling." 3PWrestling.com is proud to break this news first and look forward to hearing more from you, the most important people in wrestling... The fans.

Guest BottleRocket Report post Posted April 5, 2005 Say what you want about this year's field, but holding a show the same night as the Super 8 and expecting to draw many out-of-state indy fans seems a bit shortsighted in my opinion.

I think the Super 8 holds A LOT less importance now thanks to ROH delivering Junior Heavyweight matches better than almost anything in the Super 8.
