Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Pushed up into a prime Summer release date? Wow, that's a great sign.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Ok, so when do the trailers start? Seriously, most big summer releases already have one trailer out don't they? Does this mean a Land of the Dead trailer sooner rather than later? Either way, yeah that is some damn good news. Doesn't "Undead" come out around June or July as well? Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Yeah, I'm sure there's now a rush order on the trailer. I hope Universal and not Romero is now taking care of the trailer. I love Romero, but he simply has no experience with Summer movies, so I don't want him responsible for selling it to non-fans.
Brocklock 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 You guys sure he didn't mean June 24th 2006 and not 2005.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 12, 2005 It's 2005. The movie is nearly completed, so they aren't going to push it back to '06.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted April 12, 2005 Can't freaking wait! I wish I had something better to add for the thread, but I don't, I'm just eager to see this movie.
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 Either way, yeah that is some damn good news. Doesn't "Undead" come out around June or July as well? Yea, it comes out in July 1st. The official Lions Gate site for it is up (with a trailer.) http://www.undeadthemovie.com/ Oh, theres an Irish zombie movie called "Dead Meat" that comes out this June. Heres the trailer: http://cinemavault9.com/qthi-deadmeat.mov And a zombie/women in prison movie called "Shadow: Dead Riot" staring Tony (Candyman) Todd will be released sometime this year (I think in May, though I'm not sure) Heres the website: http://www.deadriot.com/

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted April 13, 2005 anyone notice that during the Dead Meat trailer, towards the end as the title comes back on, you hear "Don't leave me" and it sounds almost IDENTICAL to the chick saying the same line from Cabin Fever?

I think they screwed up the audio on the trailer by accident. Still looks like a fun little zombie movie. I'll definately get it when it comes out
Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 Another update The official trailer should hit April 29th.Also, two pictures have found their way online. http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/modules...rticle&sid=1416

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 Holy god damn. If I wasn't pumped before, I have just entered a new phase of it. It doesn't give away anything, it's action filled, the zombies look amazing...this movie looks beyond excellent. And Asia Argento looks smoking hot as usual. I'm going to go stand in line right now. This is my Star Wars.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 28, 2005 I think that's the most excited I've ever been about seeing a trailer. This trailer definately didn't disappoint.
Jingus 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 The original Night of the Living Dead has always been one of my favorite movies. I liked it (and the sequels) ten years ago, way before it was trendy. I've deliberately avoided all the hype & spoilers and stuff for this movie. Just for that one moment of seeing that trailer... and maaaaaaaan, does it look fucking cool or WHAT. Can't wait. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2005 I couldn't really tell that much by the trailer. I have to admit seeing Dennis Hopper in a zombie movie warms my heart however. I can't decide if I want him to live or whether I wanna see him overact in a death scene. Hell, John Lequizamo is in it too...all they need is Bob Hoskins in there somewhere and it'd be Super Mario Bros. old home week.

Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 another update, they've got the cover of the next issue of Fangoria. And here's a photo of Tom Savini as a Zombie
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted May 4, 2005 You have to wonder what Romero will do to kick it up a notch, differentiate between his style and the newer zombie stuff. Will he stay with the slow, lumbering zombies? Or by this time have they evolved a bit?

Will he stay with the slow, lumbering zombies? Or by this time have they evolved a bit? Seems they have evolved in intellgience, but not speed. Plus his zombies already have the numbers in their favor so it's not like they need to move faster. Looks like they are still slow but just too strong, too many and getting too damn smart for a bunch of corpses. Slow and smart is much more dangerous than fast and dumb. NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 I have always wanted a subscription to Fangoria, but damn is it expensive compared to other mags.
dubq 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2005 Nice trailer. Though, I find it funny that they use a track from the Resident Evil movie soundtrack ['Seizure of Power' - when the Umbrella soldiers invade the mansion].

Gary Floyd 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2005 http://www.horrorchannel.com/dread/modules...rticle&sid=1677 Yet another update. It looks like the guys who scored "Run Lola Run" (one of my all time favforite movies) will be scoring this film. It's not Goblin unfortunately, but oh well.
