Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 18, 2005 Haute Tension/Switchblade Romance/High Tension is great, just great. I loved seeing the trailer before Amityville. I fear that we'll have walk-outs on it though, since in the trailer I don't believe they even hinted at it not being in English. You don't have to worry about that, as the US theatrical released will be dubbed. It will also be edited, with a total of one minute being removed. I still want to see it in theaters, but there better be a subbed and uncut DVD released.

And sadly, most of the movies that they try to dub just have some of the worse voice acting on the planet. I'm stunned there was no sign of a Land of the Dead trailer. Wasn't Amityville released by Universal?
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 18, 2005 I guess the Haute Tension dub will involve at least one original cast member, so hopefully that means it will be a decent dub.
Secret Agent 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2005 You know, I've actually seen the real Amityville Horror house at 112 Ocean Ave but it was about 15 years ago. I wonder if it's still there and if the people who own it now have any problems.

I wonder if it's still there and if the people who own it now have any problems. Supposedly, there hasnt been any weird moments since the Lutz family moved out, which begs the question if they are lying or not. Their reasoning when questioned on this is that they "brought the horror with them" when they left, as they claimed to have had major problems after they left the house and finally had some sort of exorcism done a few years after living at Ocean Avenue which "cured" them. The demons thought they were so nice that they wanted to travel with them. They were probably making the radio bleed and constantly saying "Are we there yet?? Cause if not, your soul is ours!" while driving to the new house. It's gotta be ackward when you hint at someone you want them gone and they never get the signals.
