Mik 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 Rashad McCants, Marvin Williams, Sean May, and Raymond Felton all leaving early for the NBA. Jawad Millians, Jackie Manuel, and Scott all graduating. UNC's 7 top scorers from last season will all be gone this year. The only remaining player who started a game is Quentin Thomas. Yikes. I picked a good time to transfer back to Cornell - but at least in one year of living in Chapel Hill I got a national championship. Back to rebuilding for Roy and the boys. nogoodnick 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2005 Marvin Williams should've stayed. I can't blame the rest of them, I'm surprised they even lasted this long. They do haeve a few freshman coming in who should contribute nicely. Tyler Hansbrough, Bobby Frasor, Danny Green and Marcus Ginyard will all probably get big minutes next season. It won't be as bad as their 8-20 season, but I can see this new crop of players contending for the ACC title in about three years, though a national championship may be asking a bit too much. 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 26, 2005 It's UNC, they will reload. If Duke can do it every year then so can North Carolina.
