The future of TNA (post-July 11)

Recommended Posts

So, we can safely assume that Rhyno, Matt Hardy, Molly Holly, et al will be available to TNA come July. Looking at the WWE folder, we can also see trouble a brewin' with Jericho. So, can TNA line up the cards right to make the move to a more mid-level promotion (think WCW pre-NWO era, but w/o Hogan and TV -yet-)?

The way I see it, there are some interesting match ups that can be set up for the July PPV:

Set up a AMW vs. Hardy feud, that culminates in a Handicapped Match...with Matt running in to make the save. However, have him Twist of Fate Jeff, too...to send the message that he has ARRIVED.

Throw Rhyno into the Abyss/Raven crowd, because (if motivated) those three guys could have a killer 3 way.

Get Molly involved somehow, because she is a good worker. Would love to see her as the Anti-Tracy.

With a little bit of work, Jarett could really start to turn TNA into something here. And Jericho would be the huge key. I really think that if they gave Jericho, AJ, Daniels, Killings, the Hardys, et al the ball and kept the older "Top Guys" ( DDP, Raven, Waltman, Gunn, etc.) happy...the company could really get solid.

By September, October or thereabouts, get Heyman involved...and some of his "loyal guys" may follow.

So, what do you think? Can TNA hold on long enough to be rescued by these folks?

If anything, I'd love a Jericho/Styles ladder match. (drooooling.....)

Of course, they could always bring in Bob Saget and John Stamos...and HAVE FULL HOUSE INVADE!!!!!!!!!

Jericho I would not count on in the least.

Hardy, Rhyno and Molly, sure. Heyman for sure as well, because he's not getting resigned, and you know that would just be more fuel on the fire for him to show that he's got the skills that will turn TNA into a competitor.

Whatever happend to that report of TNA only have 3 months left before being sold to another company (or told that Panda Energy is looking to get rid of them)? TNA is still going, and even have PPV's planned for the next few months.

It's been like that from Day 1. I would imagine Panda keeps thinking about dropping TNA and then someone in TNA manages to convince them to stay aboard.

I think they will be in about the same spot they are this summer.

Heyman would be the biggest pick up for them.

Since there is NO chance of Jericho going there.
