Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 It's fucking hard to find a non-fast food job in Southern California. You live down here, so it seems like we have a similar problem. Agreed. And even when I apply to the fast food places, they always treat me rude and never call me back for an interview. Hell once I went to Subway, and kept calling on the phone to see when the manager would be in and when she made it there, I went and she was too busy to see me and told me to wait for the call back. Never heard from them. Of course having no job experience or resume really helps a lot I am sure.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 and One more thing, an old friend of mine from High School, who didn't even graduate, is making tons of money now cuz he inherited his family business and my best friend has a great job making 25 bucks plus an hour. Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 Where exactly in SoCal are you from? I live in Moreno Valley/Riverside. Also, if anyone who gets in on this sale can pick up some games for me, maybe we can work out a deal where I can get you a new game (or other item) from Wal-Mart with my gift card and we can trade. I have $53.79 on the card, exactly enough for a $49.99 game plus tax.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2005 I'm looking to replace my stolen N64 games and maybe get one or two I never owned. The sports and wrestling games which comprised half of my collection can be replaced cheaply anytime, so these are the titles I'm looking for now: 1. Zelda: OoT gold cart 2. Zelda: Majora's Mask gold cart 3. Paper Mario 4. GoldenEye 007 5. Perfect Dark 6. Conker's Bad Fur Day 7. Super Mario 64 8. Star Fox 64 9. Yoshi's Story 10. Resident Evil 2 11. Diddy Kong Racing 12. Donkey Kong 64 13. Mario Kart 64 14. Mario Party 1, 2, or 3 15. Super Smash Bros. 16. Harvest Moon 64 17. Mischief Makers 18. Jet Force Gemini 19. Kirby 64 Also, there are many Super NES and PS1 RPGs I'd like to get my hands on (I'd only want the PS1 games if they had a case included, though). I realize that the majority of those are likely gone if they were even at your store in the first place, but hey, it's worth a shot. And I know those add up to way more than the value of the gift card, but I figured I'd list everything to see how many of the games you might have available. Thanks for offering your assistance. Scroby 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 1. Zelda: OoT gold cart The gold ones are very hard to come by, I haven't seen one in months. 2. Zelda: Majora's Mask gold cart There all gold and my store has at least two of these 3. Paper Mario Sold the last one today 4. GoldenEye 007 This one isn't really that hard, I know we have like 8 of them 5. Perfect Dark Ditto here 6. Conker's Bad Fur Day Had 1 got sold today 7. Super Mario 64 I think we may have only 1 8. Star Fox 64 Store has many copies 9. Yoshi's Story We're out 10. Resident Evil 2 We have a few copies 11. Diddy Kong Racing 1 or two copies 12. Donkey Kong 64 We're out 13. Mario Kart 64 We have a few of these as well 14. Mario Party 1, 2, or 3 HAHA Good luck 15. Super Smash Bros. kinda comes and goes 16. Harvest Moon 64 This one is hard to find 17. Mischief Makers Store had a few copies, just sent out one to Vegas 18. Jet Force Gemini Store has a few copies as well 19. Kirby 64 Not really sure on this one. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 Harvest Moon's the only super-rare one listed there, save for the gold OOT one (although doesn't make any difference to me personally if they aren't gold--but it have anything to do with glitches/bugs that were fixed later? My grey OOT cart doesn't have the double shield trick). Pretty good taste in games, Matt. That list is very similar to my current n64 library. I am still looking for Jet Force Gemini and Mischief Makers myself, but usually I would find them for about 5 bucks each when I didn't have an N64. Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Starfox are very common and cheap. Mario Kart 64 is common as dirt but for some reason I usually see them for $19.99 most places. But they'll have like 6 of them. Why is Bad Fur Day so hard to find lately? No store could get rid of 'em when they were new. I don't have a GameCrazy, but if I see any of those games for 5 or less that Scroby can't hook you up with, I could do it. I've got a Diddy Kong Racing and a Mario Kart 64 I'd be willing to part with, but Scroby seems to have those covered.
Ced 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 My friend picked up Armored Core: Master of Arena (PSX), Shining Force II (Genesis) and the friggin Arc the Lad Collection (PSX), all for $15. I'm insanely jealous and angry at his pickups.
spman 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2005 I went today, and unfortunatly, they didn't have a whole lot. For my 15 bucksl though I got: The 7th Saga and Super Mario Kart for SNES and Shining Force 2 for Genesis.
Scroby 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2005 Why is Bad Fur Day so hard to find lately? No store could get rid of 'em when they were new. I think its mainly the fact that the new Xbox game is coming out in a few months, so people may want to play the N64 version first since its basically the same game. I for one tell those people who are over the age of 16 who are looking for a N64 game to get Bad Fur Day cause it was a really good damn N64 game. Its a cult classic! But yeah if anyone is looking for some games, we can work something out for a small fee. I won't rip you guys off or anything, I wouldn't like it if someone did it to me so I won't do it to you. I say we could it something like this. You pay for 3 for 15 deal shipping and maybe 10 extra dollars on my behalf for picking these up for you guys and shipping them. I'll help you guys and remember if you want, Gamecrazy's also do 6 for $30 and 9 for $45. If you still wanna do one of those, we'll still leave my fee at 10 bucks. DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2005 I got Shining Force, Phantasy Star IV and Streets of Rage II at the Selden, NY store, but that's not why I'm posting. I'm posting because of a shitty experience at the Lake Ronkonkoma, NY store. I was originally going to buy Final Fantasy Chronicles, another Shining Force (for my brother) and Sonic Adventure 2. They were going to sell the games to me, but stalled and said the sale only applied to games under $14.99 which was BS. So if anybody sees these games (except for Shining Force 1 - extreme wants include Phantasy Star III and Shining Force 2) can you pick these games up for me?
