TNABaddboi Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Here's some news from PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson: For those who have asked, Kevin Nash was in attendance at the TNA Lockdown PPV on Sunday. The vignette where he showed off his staph infection was filmed earlier in the day and he arrived around 1 PM to Universal Studios. When I asked why he didn't make an appearance before the crowd at the PPV, I was told that the booking didn't dictate that he needed to, with the blame being placed on Dusty Rhodes (who, to be fair, seems to be getting the blame for everything negative at this point, whether he's involved or not). According to one TNA source, Nash volunteered to come to the PPV and wasn't paid by TNA for the appearance. I've heard from several that TNA will be taking care of Chris Candido's medical expenses, which is really the classy thing to do.
Carnival Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Candido's pain killer addiction comes back alive on Panda's dime.
geniusMoment Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Since Candido broke his leg in a TNA ring, aren't they pretty much obligated to pay his medical expenses under workmens comp.
Guest jobsquad Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 only if he has a contract. if he is an independent contractor(which 99.9% of indy guys are) he is on his own dime.
syxx2001 Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 But TNA has a bunch of their guys under contract. I dont think Candido falls under that category though.
Scroby Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 I think I read on here or was it prowrestling.com? Anyways at one point I read that TNA covered your medical and dental if you were under contract with them.
