DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 2, 2005 Why is Jericho getting points a stupid ruling? Finisher Execute points are gained when, as the category implies, a finisher is executed. This is why MNM got it twice for Velocity and so on. Post match, backstage, pre-match, it doesn't matter.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2005 My team did this on raw Masters-8 (every time I pick him, he either doesnt show up, or doesnt do the masterlock challenge, and now loses a match) Eugene-23 Bischoff-9 Cena-34 Grand Total-74 whopping Points Man do I suck at this game. PLEASE LET BATISTA HAVE A MATCH AND WIN (Or else Im never picking him again, save for summerslam) Since I dont read spoilers anymore, Ill have to wait to thursday

Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2005 Well...I forgot to change my team this week, so that sucks. And I picked a really crap team to boot last week.. (mostly women)
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2005 Good news: All 5 of my Raw guys had a match tonight. Bad news: 4 of them had a match against each other (Eugene/Angle which I knew, Benjamin/Masters which at least gets appearance + match points for Benjamin and some god finisher win points for Masters, and Rob Conway, who gets 2 appearance points, match points, and win points). I came really close to picking Jericho but opted to have a cheaper roster with 9 guys to see if that played out, also figuring Jericho would do nothing more than promos tonight. Well the bastard had 4 appearances, a match, and won with his finisher. I suspect he will have got the most points.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted August 9, 2005 Wow. Anyone who had the Heart-throbs got 56 points for just $3 million. And: Woo! Back up to #1 in the TSM league! #260 overall.
Carnival 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Did anyone else notice the fags at WWE fantasy changed the Buy/Sell deadline from 7pm et on monday to 12pm et on monday? I'm officially fucked for summerslam.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Is that why I can't buy or sell anyone? I made sure to fix my roster on Saturday (it's all Raw guys save for Rey and Batista, and I was hoping Rey would be getting Specialty Match points, which I now know he is... I think the rest is Angle, Eugene, Matt, Cena, and Jericho... Cena/Jericho are good for points tonight (specialty, no less) and Summerslam) but if so that sucks. I thought it was saying that noon is when scores are posted. Edit: "The deadline to make roster moves for Week 10 is Monday , August 15 at 7:00 PM ET" and I once again have Buy/Sell options for the week if I wish to change it up. You should be ok. Of note, I noticed a lot of people, even near the top of our league, have people like Hassan or Morgan on their roster, so I guess there is not a lot of interest in this thing. Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Yeah I just finally changed it and I was picking up RAW guys but then I realised Summerslam is a joint PPV lol, I think it has been build-up really bad because they have one week to announce like 4 more matches. This is my team: Batista (I expect a win over JBL) Carlito (I dunno, he always gets nice points and he maybe will fight at SS) Chris Masters (I expect him to get a win and face Big Show at SS) Hulk Hogan (expect him to beat Angle tonight and beat HBK at SS) John Cena (expect him to beat Carlito & Jericho and beat Jericho at SS) Kurt Angle (maybe Angle wins tonight, just maybe. And he beats Eugene at SS) Rey Mysterio (beats Eddie at SS)
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Hey I moved up in the rankings to 929th place WHOOPEE my picks (as of right now) for this week raw and sd and velocity/heat /summerslam Cena (99 percent sure hes retaining as Jericho never wins anymore) Hogan (DUH as if he's gonna lay down for shawn, but then agin...) Angle (will beat eugene at SS, will get some points for raw too) Maria (extra $1000 leftover) sd Batista (SHOULD retain) Orton (Gets the win this time) Eddie (He's got to be winning at SS right?) what do you think of my picks? Should I have went with Matt instead of Orton (like I originally planned) and shoudl I pick up rey instead of eddie, or maybe both rey and eddie?
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Why do you think Eddie is going to win the match?
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Why do you think Eddie is going to win the match? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> cuz hes done nothing but job in this feud. and because if Rey wins, that just means Eddie will go back on his word again and the last month will mean nothing. and I have this bad feeling that WWE will pull a "Tyler Fullington" in this one. perhaps I will add rey also just to be safe.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 ok I sold eddie for rey (you people better be right! my luck eddie will win...but rey may go and have a match on sd hopefully) and the sold maria and picked up melina for 2 grand (shes got a match on sd that she may likely win, a mixed tag no less with mercury vs booker/sharmell so it may even get specialtypoints) besides I probaly cant win now being in 929th place. I would just like to be in the leaderboard at least once, or finish in the top 10 and qualify for a prize as a distant hope.
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Rey/Eddie will be a ladder match with Dominic's custody papers in the air so Eddie winning wouldn't be right to be honest.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Rey/Eddie will be a ladder match with Dominic's custody papers in the air so Eddie winning wouldn't be right to be honest. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but its not even legal to do this for custody so it doesnt matter, eddie Could win. Besides Rey never legally adopted dom so he has no real legal right to him, but in real life the court would take that he raised the kid into considreation over a guy who gave away his own son. and if dom is 8 years old, then he was born in like 1997, when Eddie and Rey feuded in WCW so how do they explain them being friends in real life at that point? I guess WWE takes for granted that no one in their fanbase watched WCW
Team Angle Pusher 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Yeah but if Eddie Guerrero wins they will need to have Dominic act as Eddie's son and he'll need to show up a lot more because this is just a too big of a thing to just wave away after Summerslam. So if Eddie wins Dominic is his son and the storyline will continue, if Rey wins the story stops.

However, why would Eddie stop, I mean he went back on his word after GAB so why would he just drop it now. His whole heel turn and feud with rey is based on him not beating Rey. I still see this feud continuing after SS even if Rey wins. PS lets stop discussing this in here, theyll get mad and there is already a thread for this angle. Carnival 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 thanks for letting me know i can buy/sell now, for some reason they had the deadline changed to noon for awhile. My team Jericho - will win the handicap match tonight, and lose at ss Eugene - might have an invitational, those are always big points, lose at ss Cena - lose tonight, win at ss Angle - probably lose tonight, win at ss Orton - win at ss Mysterio - win at ss Michaels - win at ss

I would like to but I have a bad feeling about this. Dont think Eugene will have an invitational tonight but he may. The summerslam match may be ruled a specialty match cuz it is "no time limit" Jericho will likely beat Cena tonight to give him some credibility going into the PPV- and to foreshadow who will win the ppv match, so I could have picked him (and probably should have) notice that Raw is doing the same thing on the last show before Sumemrslam as they did last yeay, by haveing the champ face his ss opponent and a partner in a handicap match (last year it was Benoit vs Orton and HHH)

I would like to but I have a bad feeling about this. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why? (I also picked Shawn) More then likely, tonight, he'll get a few appearence points, and finisher points as I expect him to interfere in Kurt/Hogan and possibly Superkick him. Then at SS, if like it's been said he'll be in the main event, then he gets final match points, and more then likely, he'll win the match too, as I don't know if they'll have the guy, who might not be there the next week win the match. DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Fantasy Board already ruled Eugene/Angle is non-title, non-specialty in case yo uwere wondering. I'm wondering if in the next 55 minutes I should sell Matt for Orton to at least round out the Raw/SD balance, but I can't see it making much of a difference so I'll stick with what I have. That said, they'll probably announce Orton/Taker as a Casket Match on SmackDown! screwing me out of Specialty points. Then again, they could just as easily declare Matt/Edge a non-sanctioned street fight.
Xavier Cromartie 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2005 Now that the deadline has really passed, I can post. Although they partially fixed it, the deadline error was wonderful. It enabled anyone to see everyone's roster for week 10. Many of the overall top 100 players didn't have their teams picked at the time of the false lockout, and may not have come back later when they could have fixed it. Also, the Victoria/Stacy match was cancelled, and so I think that that switcheroo screwed some people too. My tough decision of the week was between Orton & Melina and Mercury & Eugene... I went with the former and now hope that MNM doesn't get a title match/win at SS. Meanwhile, Exslade ZX seems to be the only person whose team has a realistic shot of catching up to the Big 2 at this point. Top 5 after Week 9 1. never kissed a girl - 1731 2. Fazzle - 1727 3. Zhane - 1597 4. Jobbers for Trips - 1477 5. Mexicools 4 Life - 1441
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Well I picked Michaels for this week, so I will see how that goes.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 Well, a bit late to post this now, but here's my roster for the week, plus the reasonings: Carlito (had the specialty match on Raw, and was hoping he'd find a way to weasel himself on the PPV) Bischoff (was hoping for 2-3 Raw appearances, plus 1 on PPV) Hogan (figured Hogan/Angle HAD to be the main event, and with no Raw match announced for HBK, he was the better pick) Cena (specialty match, plus should retain title on PPV) Angle (see Hogan, plus he HAS to win at Summerslam, right?) Matt Hardy (was hoping for a Raw match, plus Matt's the cheapest guy on the PPV) Nunzio (cheap. If he gets a Velocity title defense, he'll be worth his money) Rey (specialty match on PPV) Sharmell (only $1, guaranteed a match on SD, maybe specialty match points...) The only regret I have is that I didn't switch out Bischoff and Nunzio for Eugene.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2005 I knew I should have subbed out Matt for Orton (I have $500,000 not doing anything to make up for the cost). Matt doing nothing on Raw while I assume Orton will at least appear on SmackDown cost me some points.
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted August 18, 2005 Holy shit, I jumped 65000 places since I last checked the scoreboard. Sweet. Why didn't I have that roster before?
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 IWC 4 Life is now up to 686th place! Damn wwe screwed us over by announcing benoit gets a us title shot at SS (and will likely win this time) on RAW . oh well heres how I did so far this week RAW Cena-28 Hogan-24 Angle-23 SD Melina-23 Orton-32 Rey-24 Batista-7 Grand Total if 161 so far as long as all my guys win at SS Ill be ok, though Benoit possibly getting those 20 title win points makes me a bit angry. Glad I changed Matt to Randy though. so angle-eugene is nonspecialty? damn oh well at least Ill get ppv win points for angle. Damn have you looked at the leaderboard? bswinm and The Millionaires tied for 1st with 199 points? how did they get 199 points? damn, Im not too far back that
Xavier Cromartie 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2005 Why don't you just enter your team into the Smart Marks group. You can check out the leaders' teams. They got 199 by taking Mercury and the LOD. After the PPV they won't be in 1st place for the week any more.
Vampiro69 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2005 Man you figure Masters was having a Sumerslam program with Big Show or Shelton set up and boom nothing for Raw. Anyone know if Nunzio is defending his title on Velocity tomorrow night?
