I really wish I had the money at the moment to pick up some ROH, I've got about 10 shows all in all and I haven't been disapointed by any of them.

 

Hopefully once summer rolls around I'll have a job again and I'll be able to splurge out on some of the great new releases that have come out since the most recent show I got at Christmas which was Joe vs. Punk II.

I'm trying to convince my parents of my grandparents to give me a bit of a loan until the summer so I can get a few DVD's. I won't be too upset though if I don't manage to get ahold of them now. They'll only destract me from my impending exams, and ROH usually have a good sale every couple of months or so.

It was the tapes that slowly broke me into ROH before I was prepared to make the jump to buying the more expensive DVD's. I'm really not sure what to do, I could either by in order from where I am getting Round Robin Challenge III, Survival Of The Fittest etc, or buy the tapes that interest me most like All Star Extravaganza II and what not. I feel compelled to follow them cronologically but I'm just yearning to see the end of the Joe/Punk Series.

The 3 Year Anny shows you picked up are fantastic. After you fall in love with those, you can probably skip the Trios Tourney, but make sure to pick up

"Back to Basics" "BOTASJ" and "Stalemate." "BOTASJ" isn't the deepest card, but what's good, (Gibson-Strong, Dragon-Spanky) is really good, and totally worth the $20.

 

I'm a huge fan or ROH right now, as of late, they are moving away from shows with one HUGE match, to very well rounded cards with something for everyone. If you end up liking them, they've discounted the old shows, and most of them can be had for really cheap now.

I've decided against my original thoughts. Beside's picking up probably Third Anniversary Part II and Third Anniversary Part III, I'm going to go back to the beginning and order the shows from the start of ROH till the end.

 

All shows from 2002 are on sale right now for $12, while all shows from 2003 are on sale for $15. Now instead of 10 DVDs, I can probably nip up 15-20 for around the same price.

For about, $35ish dollars cheaper, (still got the 25% off deal ROH gave) I managed to grab ahold of 4 more DVD's then I was originally going to purchase + now I'll be able to follow all the storylines I would of missed by just getting the Best Of's. I'm getting all 11 first year DVDs, as well as Night of the Grudges from 2004 (simply for the match that got me hooked on ROH and probably one of, if not the best match Ive seen in my life, London v. Styles. and 2 of the newer DVD's, Third Anniversary part 2 and 3 (simply for Jimmy Rave, who is one of my favourites right now. I'm glad I waited for opinions on the order.. and saved myself probably $150+.
