But now I pity Mr.Durst and his whole 'we didn't sell out, we're still cool' 32 year-old geriatric vibe. The only bands I can truly say I hate are U2(except the Batman Forever track) and D-12. I actually don't mind pop music if they can back it up. That's the real difference between old pop music and new pop music. Stars like Elton John, the Motown legends, and even disco stars had legit soul, emotion, and feelings to their songs. While a few of today's pop stars have that, the majority don't. I dunno, that's how I can typecast a couple genres, but I'm always willing to change my opinion when I hear something I like. I'm not going to list every band I think is overrated/don't like because most of 'em have already been done to death in the thread and the rest are "classic" or indie/alternative artists that will get me barred from Kinetic's bakakke this weekend.
