Nightfall Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 So my rommmates and I are sitting in the living room and we feel an earthquake. We never get them here. In 1964, there was a huge tsunami in the town I live, Crescent Cit, CA. There's hella tsunami alerts for town now, expecting to hit at 8:29 pacific time, or in 7 minutes. The last tsunami didn't hit this far in, but I have no idea about this one. Just thought I'd let you all know.
Nightfall Posted June 15, 2005 Author Report Posted June 15, 2005 Well, they evacuated a lot of the town, and then they called it good around 9:30 local time. It was hella scary though, people were running red lights, getting out of town as fast as they could. It was really freaky, because when we had the tsunami in 64, almost half of our town was ruined. I actually just bought a book off of eBay a month ago with lots of stories and pictures from it. So, does anyone else here live on the west coastline? And if so, were you evacuated?
MrRant Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 Don't ever use the word "hella" again. Or the Tsnuami will get you.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 15, 2005 Report Posted June 15, 2005 Im sure Typhoon will be tagging in shortly.
