Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 28, 2002 >Because, as we all know, the Leafs have played through the entire playoffs with an entirely healthy roster. You always get banged up in the playoffs, so using the injured players excuse doesn't cut it. Even for the Leafs. Well, that's kind of my point, Syxx was using the fact that the Blues had injured players as an excuse for their losing, while I was pointing out that the Leafs, at one point had 7 regulars out and were still winning. I'll give that to the Leaf's, as Roberts has had the team on his back, esp. when Mogilny wasn't scoring against Ottawa, Roberts pretty much won that friggin' series on his own. But, the Blues, despite their injuries (sarcasm on) sure did look great against that awesome Chicago team. (sarcasm off). Then it was a reality check for the Blues, as they got the fuck kicked out of them by Detroit. Foresberg in my mind is the conn smythe winner I agree with that. Forsberg has been awesome, esp. with the winner. I agree that the play may have been offside, but when it was that close, I don't think that the refs should call it. I mean, in OT, when the guy looks to be onsides, I say let it go. Oh, and Reinprecht's goal was fucking spectacular. Go 'Lanche! Go Whalers/Hurricanes! Guest Report post Posted May 29, 2002 if you guys read what I said, I said that if the Blues and Leafs were both at 100 percent the Blues would win, sorry but I will take Weight, Tkachuk, Demitra, Pronger, Macinnis, and Johnson, over Sundin, Roberts, Mogilny, McCabe, Kaberle, and Joseph. And yeah Irbe got pulled twice, but how good has he been since he came back, his GAA for the Leafs series was under 1.00, and his save percentage was about .967, I think I would rather take his so called "luck" at this point. Guest gthureson Report post Posted May 29, 2002 Dallas has only ever been the Minnesota North Stars previously. It was a merger with the Seals/Barons franchise. Cleveland didn't move to Minnesota, they simply got absorbed them. I always like the old Barons for some reason. They don't get enough nostalgic love. Yeah, I know that, but as far as I'm concerned, it's part of their legacy. Then again, I suppose the Sharks are as well...
