King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2005 Right. Basically, I went to get this in as soon as possible if it's okay with everyone concerned. I don't know when this Originals/Upstarts thing officially starts, but when it does, I'm going to need a little more backstory to make Rodez joining the Originals make sense. So, here's my idea... Next week, or whenever, the GPX try to recruit Rodez to the onnofficial Upstarts again. Rodez won't hear them out. But that's when Drek arrives, to basically try and help convince Rodez to join up. Drek'll make some good points but Rodez basically shoots them down, saying he wants nothing to do with them. He then reminds the GPX his last match with (one of) them got interrupted, so challenges the trio to a six-man the week after. On that week, Zack and Some Guy would be in their locker room or wherever when Rodez walks in and asks them to be his partners (as Blonde and Faqu would still be 'injured'.) Some Guy doesn't trust Rodez, but Zack knows Rodez better and agrees. In the match itself, Zack and Some Guy would work as a team and Rodez wouldn't get tagged in during the entire match...until eventually, Some Guy gets taken out and Zack has no choice but to tag Rodez. That leads to the run to the finish. We could maybe have a spot where it seems Rodez might turn, but doesn't. The match'd end with Rodez pinning one of the three. Zack and Some Guy try to shake hands with Rodez after the match, but Rodez brushes them off and walks to the back alone. After that, I'd get on with the Wright feud for a while. So I'd just need two weeks. Any two weeks really, so long as it doesn't interfere with any plans for the 5 characters mentioned. So...let me know what you guys think. My only request is that Zack and Drek not have too much singles interaction here, since I'm still trying to hold off on that a little. Tease it. Maybe have them trade a few punches or whatever.
