Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Hopefully the CAW is better this year so you can accurately make wrestlers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You could on SVR. I've got pretty much dead on CAWs for every slot. You just need to find yourself a CAW making site and search for accurate ones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Most of the faces for SVR CAW's that I've looked at are too similar due to the lack of different face models that were found in previous Smackdown games like SYM and HCTP. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's why they added the face morphin feature. If you know what you're doing, you can make some really good faces. My Low Ki and American Dragon's are pretty good, considering what they looked like before the morphing. Guest Zarock Report post Posted October 10, 2005 The masked guys are the hardest for me. My Great Sasuke looks barely passable, and my Tiger Mask looks pitiful. If anyone knows a site with good CAWs for those two, I'd really appreciate it.

Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Your username got me to thinking...I wonder how many new moves (puro, indy, lucha) they'll add to this year's game? I remember being disappointed last year, especially since they actually TOOK SOME OUT (ligerbomb anyone?)...
Guest Fishyswa Report post Posted October 10, 2005 Yeah I don't understand why the amount of moves isn't one of the main priorities. It's the ultimate customization, they should have a team dedicated to collecting and researching moves or something. Looks like they didn't do much to improve weapon's and weapon collision. PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 Online Mode revealed: http://ps2.ign.com/articles/657/657279p1.html Can defend belts, and play in: Single, Tag (Normal, Tornado, Elimination Normal and Elimination Tornado), Special Referee, Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Handicap, Backstage Brawls, Battle Royal (Four Player only), Buried Alive, First Blood, Fulfill Your Fantasy, Hardcore, Hell in a Cell, Iron Man, Ladder, Last Man Standing, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC, and Title Matches. And trade CAWs online, which is awesome. Bad news on CAW though: ""how many guys can you make," the final number is just under 30 per memory card (though you can't import any of them into season mode beyond the one player character)" That just blows.... 30 isn't nearly enough, and you can't add them in season. Total downer for me...
The Mandarin 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 That sounds tremendous. And thus the TSM League is born.
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 I made a grand total of one CAW last year (me) so 30 is fine for me. Even if I go back to my 2001 ways and make a whole bunch, I won't devote anywhere near the time for 30.
Guest clockworkraven Report post Posted October 11, 2005 They've given Show the Final Cut as a finisher. When was the last time he actually used that? Better off just giving him the Skillet-Hand Chop.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 I wouldn't normally mind 30. With missing guys I care about to some extent and those outside the company I like, it never shakes out to more than 20 or so, if only due to lazyness. However, the ability to trade and send CAWs online throws a wrench into that, since others could do all the work, and especially if you could somehow download batch amounts of CAWs. Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2005 HHH's entrance is much better, and longer like it should be, the music gets to the right part when he gets on the apron now. Total downer for me... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd say that voiceovers definitely need to be taken out of the next game. It's probably starting to affect the slots of CAW's now. Either that, or Yukes cut down the number of slots just to piss us off. Another thing: To be able to have an even better chance of having an updated roster, since Yukes can't seem to do the Legends right anymore, I think the Legends need to be taken out of the next game so that other cruiserweights who are usually seen on Velocity like Brian Kendrick/Spanky can finally make it into a WWE game if he's still around by next year. I'd like to have a nice blend of main-eventers, upper mid-carders, tag teams, and undercarders again much like the older wrestling games.

Silence 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 They cut the number by a whole fucking 2. They went from 32 to 30. Big deal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ever notice how Yukes decreased the number of layers for CAW parts, though? I hope the same thing doesn't occur with CAW slots every year, because in the case of SVR 2006, there are some notable wrestlers left out that could have easily been added to the game like MNM, Simon Dean (yeah, I know, but he was a featured character on Raw a while back), Nunzio, and Rosey since several wrestlers/divas in the game have been gone since July (Joy, Spike Dudley, Jindrak, etc.). There are also those wrestlers who just debuted only a few months before SVR 2006's confirmed roster (Mexicools, Cade & Murdoch, etc.) who wouldn't have made it anyway, so I would have been fine with that, but not when the wrestlers I've mentioned above that were in WWE for a while weren't even included in the game and/or still aren't at the same time. I'm just saying that it would have been nice if THQ had some back-up wrestlers to go along with the ones released in July so it wouldn't almost look like a Warzone/Attitude-style roster. dubq 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 Isn't the number of CAW slots determined by how much memory the actual CAW takes up on a memcard?

His music theme sucks ass. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm guessing that was the face Regal theme he used from late last year untill turning heel on smackdown. EDIT: Yep, it is, hopefully they will change it , but doubtful with a month left to release then again how old is the demo that IGN is using ?
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted October 12, 2005 oh, Heideinreich doesnt do the weird march thing, oh well. Pre lod heidi is pretty much the same as now except for the makeup and no hair on the sides, so his model isnt too outdated. Too bad they decided to take out LOD the year Animal returns to the wwe. They could have easily readded him since they have a model of him from last year no? The new LOD is using the original LOD 2000 theme from WrestleMania 14. SVR last year had the second LOD 2000 theme for some reason instea dof the classic one from their original wwf run.
