So who were the hooded men who made UT their bitch

Recommended Posts

So who were under the masks of Hassan's goon squad? Given their large builds, I would assume indie wrestlers but who? So has their identities been leaked out like they usually do when the WWE hired indie guys, puts them in masks, and uses them as extras on episodes of Raw/Smackdown? Or has the bad publicity about the segment caused Meltzer and the rest of the IWC who know these things purposely keeping the identities of the men under the hoods secret so the masked guys don't get their names put through the mud for participating in the segment?

From the Smackdown thread:

For those wondering, the masked men who attacked The Undertaker on Smackdown were Mike and Todd Shane, Val Venis, WWE developmental talent Mike Knox and one other name I haven't confirmed yet

I'm wondering why they randomly used Morley for this thing.

Not that it matters, but there's got to be some story backstage to it. Maybe put a bunch of names in a hat or something in picked?

Or maybe because he looked about the same size as the other dudes.

The scary thing is when I saw the first two guys in the ring attack UT, my first thought was "Hey, they remind me of the guys who dressed up like dicks in TNA", that of course being the Shane Twins. I can't believe I was right, lol... as far as Val goes, wtf? Was he part of the trade to SD? If not (and I'm too lazy to be bothered to look right now) then I have to assume they ran a guy short and had Val do it, being a Supershow and all. Easier to hide when he's a RAW guy.

The topic makes the whole situation seem more sexual than violent.

Of course, I don't recall Hassan dragging a hooded Daivari around on his knees.

Then there's the Shanes' former gimmick.

Since they Taped Sd the same night as Raw, Val happened to be in the building (not he wasnt traded, he even wrestled on RAW this week), so Iassume they asked him to do it cuz he was about the right size. who knows.?

I heard one guy was Val Venis, but dunno.

A word of advice Porter, please change back to the Mel Gibson avatar and signature. I think it made you look more bad ass, knowledgable and recognisable.

Yeah, cause Morely and the Shane Twins really do look alike.

As mentioned.. It would be fun if the hooded people end up being some of the people recently released, in protest to their 'firing'
