Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 What is your problem good sir? EDIT: In reference to CG, who apparently feels left out.
CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 Please don't call me sir.(I dislike it in general, it's not me being pissy) You looked at VX and not me. As for the theory, drinking/smoking yourself to sleep isnt necessarily a problem. Sometimes tugging it just doesn't work. Until you get a DUI or affect your work or relationships, it's not really a problem.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 27, 2005 So you can have either drugs or sex? Man, I can't even tell the difference between the two anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, usually I have both. And I also agree with your statement, which is why I can supplement that craving in the way I am.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 27, 2005 Yeah, that's actually what he meant. I think anyway. It's similar to alcohol, you're addicted if you find yourself getting blazed/smashed by yourself, that's when you have a problem, especially if you're so dependant on it that you need to sleep (V-X I'm looking at you!). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See, I used to think it had to do with getting blazed/smashed by yourself, but I've found it LESS addicting to not have it be a social activity, reason being that there's not always people around to get fucked up around and have it be part of your lifestyle or anything. This is pretty much the same philosophy I used with meth and hanging around tweekers all the time- I never really found myself smoking it by myself. I've had an insomnia problem all my life though, I've stayed up for at least a few days on my own without much effort.. I'll go through phases where I'll be exhausted but something will then catch my attention and wake me up again, until I just lose interest in consciousness and pass out for a long while. So, I just need to be really, really bored and/or just lose enough of a connection with reality to where I just fade away from it. Melatonin and chamomile tea help for when I'm having trouble sleeping, though. You looked at VX and not me. Can't really blame him...
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 CG: Good sir is just a line that this gimmick used to use and I found it hilarious so I sitll use it. V-X: I've always assumed that if you do it more on your own, than you don't need th excuse of having to be with someone to do it. Now, you're just getting blitzed whenever you feel like, making it habitual and therefore occuring much more often.
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 CG: Good sir is just a line that this gimmick used to use and I found it hilarious so I sitll use it. "please good sirs!" I'll never remember if that was X Killer Gon Hit Em Up or Mr. X The Spooky Secret Agent Man. One of the shitty X guys.
Your Paragon of Virtue 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2005 I'm pretty sure it was the spooky one, the other guy was like this hardcore gangsta or something. The best was when Spooky Secret Agent man was kidnapped by Barry Windham of all people, who posted for a bit, but my memory is hazy. I do remember it being damn funny, especially the fact that the struggle for the keyboard was shown in a post.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted July 28, 2005 I have a hard-ass time sleeping every night too. I need to take four Benadryls before I go to bed, or I won't have a prayer of falling asleep. Even then, nothing is guaranteed and I often won't even be fazed by it. I refuse to take any more pills (four is kinda pushing it and can sometimes knock me out to the point I can't hear my alarm), so I smoke a little late at night whenever I'd like to start winding down. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 28, 2005 You're a chronic. Don't bother going to the doc for sleeping pills either, they'll throw you into a black hole.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted July 30, 2005 I haven't really slept in a couple days now. I'm not even tired. I've had a couple 2 hour naps. I think I naturally produce cocaine.
