A tourney for "Italian Horror" would likely work better. Hell, alot of people probably aren't familiar with the term giallo. "Italian Horror" would cover giallo and any other hard to classify italian films.

Zombi Zombi 2 Zombie or whatever the hell it's called wouldn't be eligible for "Italian Horror". It's a zombie movie. Only with no over riding genre would be eligible for "Italian Horror".

Funny how you start the thread before we all decided on the categories to go through it, since we kinda agreed to do it genre-by-genre until we had winners for each, and then put those up against each other.

With all due respect to your opinion, I think that would take the fun out of the random-ness of certain matchups.

 

Imagine having a big "WWE Tournament" or "MLB Tournament" and not allowing for inter-brand or inter-league matchups (which are the major draws), and instead limiting the finale to movies we all knew would be there in the end, anyways.
