Si82 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=57874 Ren & Stimpy: The Lost Episodes and Ultimate Edition cover art John Kricfalusi, creator of The Ren & Stimpy Show, has unveiled sneak previews of the cover artwork for two upcoming Ren & Stimpy DVD releases, The Lost Episodes and the Ultimate Edition. Designed by John K himself and Annmarie McCarty, who both co-created the concept of Flash cartoons in 1997, these are some of the wildest, wackiest cover concepts for any DVD release to date. These images are an excellent example of the results given when DVD companies allow the actual creators and animators of shows to draw the box art, instead of resorting to the usual airbrushed stock art. Even in this rough form it is easy to see that these DVDs will be something special. Stay tuned for a special sneak preview of some of the never-aired episodes in the Lost Episodes set, as well as an exclusive interview with John K himself! Ren & Stimpy: The Lost Episodes is released on November 8th. These sets look awesome. Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 as long as they don't include episodes with the asinine gay angles, I'll pick this up... I always knew they were gay (well cartoons can't be gay...) but they ruined the funniness of it all by having them blatantly come across as gay...
Star Ocean 3 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 It's good I didn't buy the season sets that are already out, since the Ultimate Collection has everything uncensored. Ultimate Collection has the Adult Party Cartoon gay stuff, too.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2005 I dunno, to me it was just funnier when they were ambigous, not blatant...
