Smackdown wasn't amazing this week but I have to say I liked it better than Raw, maybe because Eddie makes this goofy stuff sorta work with sheer bravado. It seems like there are too many guys wandering around with no direction however.

 

Is it just me or is Randy Orton so not over he's under at this point? His reaction was one like "Yeah we know you're gonna push this guy again but it doesn't mean we have to LIKE it." What does beating UT even prove at this point? He had his big shot at WM and blew it, so much like Shawn he'll get the job back from WM but no one will care.

 

Oh, and people are making too much of this Jillian angle. She'll eventually get it removed or something, nothing to worry about.

 

Lastly, if Eddie wanted a son to carry on the Guerrero name why did he give Dominic up to begin with?

I think it's no so much the angle/gimmick itself as it's now 2 divas taking the focus away from those 2 guys who are doing the wrestling.

Right. There's something wrong when one of the announcers is talking about Jillian's "mole" constantly during a match instead of the tag team that's actually IN the match (MNM/Mercury and Nitro). Damn, it's almost as bad as when The King talks about "puppies" whenever he sees a Raw diva.

 

On a better note, Rey vs. Christian was good.

Okay so what does Jillian Hall do after she pulls the brass knuckles out of her mole? Then she is just a normal girl right? And MNM then has two women in their team, that sucks. WWE needs to think long term.

I'm assuming Jillian will eventually do a face turn and manage some other tag team. Just wondering but is this whole brass knucks thing something they are serious about doing, or is it a joke? It's getting hard to tell the difference.

The Eddie/Rey thing really pisses me off. I knew last week the impending stupidity to come, but now we have lawyers and outside forces involved in this and it's dumb.

 

I want to see Rey and Eddie's feud built on and continuued through hatred and competition. Not custody for a kid.

 

The lame thing is they used Rey's real son. How does this look 10 years or so down the line when you look and see that you said your son really isn't yours, but your enemy's, and that you said this just to get a lame angle over? Mind numbingly dumb.

Well AT least Tazz and Cole tried to put over the fact that Eddie doesnt care about the kid, he is trying to Punish Rey cuz he cant beat him.

 

And as I have said before, Dom as Eddies son is all well and good except for the fact that.... HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE REY! (but of course according to WWE Rey never took off his mask before)

 

 

 

and why were the announcers asking why Orton attacked Taker DUH!!!!!! Hell he had just RKOD Taker and cost him a previous match vs JBL last month when he was drafted to SD, plus he had an in ring promo th e next week already explaining his motives and saying he was going to continue to be a thorn in Takers side. ( are we suppose dto have that short a memory?)

 

I have a new problem with the socalled "mole", Tazz cracking jokes about it and the way it has been presented, it seems like WWE is sending the message that if something is wrong with you physically and you aren't "beautiful" , you are worthless and less than human, as well as a "bad guy". Great message for the kids huh?

 

Actually I thought to myself, maybe it will be revealed that the mole is indeed fake and that Melina forced Jillian to put on makeup so as not to steal her spotlight(since MNM is clearly being used to push Melina and not the actual wrestlers Nitro and Mercury) . Of course WWE creative isnt exactly keen on logical ideas.
