Guest Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Uhhh Jericho had to cheat to beat Henry WTF yeah Trips you really needed that win. Test VS Triple H fued ahhh this just gets worse and worse. god Smackdown will be shit. You've Screwed me again Mcmahon. But Vince will make up for it if He has RVD VS Taker KOTR. Jericho Could win KOTR Clean every match to prove he is a ME. RVD***RVD***RVD chant silently in the Background
Guest J*ingus Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Whoa... I just realized that RVD has at least one pinfall each over Austin, Rock, Jericho, Angle, Undertaker... but none over HHH. How 'bout that?
Guest Will Scarlet Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Sounds pretty crappy. I just hope this does not somehow lead to an Angle vs. Maven feud. That would be horrible. Other than the Hurricane angle and the possibility of a Test push, I really do not think I will tune into much here.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 He pinned most of those guys during the Invasion angle IIRC, which HHH wasn't a part of for obvious reasons.
Guest J*ingus Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 I still think it's an interesting point. In fact, the only time I remember them ever meeting in the ring was in the Royal Rumble... where HHH eliminated RVD from the match. How 'bout that.
Guest Redhawk Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Why would they bring in Macho Man to feud with a cruiserweight? No, my friends, Randy Savage will make his comeback by jobbing to Hulk Hogan for the 13,965th time in a row. Seriously, has Savage EVER beat Hogan? And when he's not feuding with Hogan, he's his little bitch-boy.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 On the Macho Man case, the evidence speaks for itself. Plus, Macho can squash the daylights out of the Hurricane and make his grand re entrance into the WWE. I figure they'll build it up as Hurricane vs Mystery Opponent at KOTR.
Guest Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 I don't even know what to say anymore. The main event of the show is an interview featuring Hulk Hogan, Vince and Undertaker. What can you even say about that? Boy, that HITC match really elevated Jericho and proved he was tough. Now he's afraid of Mark Henry and has to cheat to beat someone as low on the card as Henry. Watch Faarooq vow for revenge next week against Jericho on Velocity leading up the huge tag team match of Faarooq/Henry v. Godfather/Jericho. Does someone in the WWE find it amusing to kill the careers of their most promising wrestlers? A Triple H/Test feud is brewing. So, what was the point of all that stuff with Triple H/Edge last week? All it did was take away from the Triple H/Jericho program and put attention on something that got no follow through. Are they restarting the Canadian Horseman angle now minus Jericho? I hope they aren't going to do sight gags week after week with Angle trying to pretend he's not bald. Why not let him be pissed instead and go out there and beat the crap out of Edge? Maven pinned Christian. Umm... you know they do kinda edit it before airing. It may not be in that order. AND just remember its been 1 week since the PPV... lets at least see where things stand after next weeks Smackdown before the real bashing begins. I at least am encouraged by some of the stuff going on.
Guest Risk Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Maven is such a fucking loser, he's greener than Regal's pee.
Guest Risk Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 I REALLY hope Triple H's career is cut short ala Shawn Michaels.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Just like I thought, after his Judgment Day job to HHH, Jericho is now facing the likes of Mark Henry, blah. And he had to cheat to win over Henry too. I hate this constant Jericho depushing every time after he loses a main-event match to HHH(the first time it happened was in 2000, after his feud with HHH was done away with, Jericho got depushed and faced the likes of X-Pac and Kane in horrible feuds). Jericho's just been getting screwed over since 1998, and it doesn't look like the pain of being hurt by backstage politics is going to quit any time soon. Thank you, HHH and Kevin Nash, you dumb sons of bitches.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 RVD got his wins over those guys during the Invasion. Triple H was injured during the Invasion. He didn't plan on tearing his quad, it happened by accident. When he did come back, Triple H was a face, just like RVD. How 'bout that? Just like I thought, after his Judgment Day job to HHH, Jericho is now facing the likes of Mark Henry, blah. And he had to cheat to win over Henry too. Don't forget that Triple H had to face Lance storm and he had to use the referee to win that match. Jericho's just been getting screwed over since 1998, and it doesn't look like the pain of being hurt by backstage politics is going to quit any time soon. Jericho's pain or yours? Thank you, HHH and Kevin Nash, you dumb sons of bitches. What the hell does Nash have to do with anything? Is he holding down Jeriho too? I hate this constant Jericho depushing every time after he loses a main-event match to HHH(the first time it happened was in 2000, after his feud with HHH was done away with, Jericho got depushed and faced the likes of X-Pac and Kane in horrible feuds). You tell me who the hell Jericho is supposed to face now. What other faces are there on the Smackdown roster for him to face? The Rock is gone, he faced Triple H and he also faced Hogan. I thought Triple H bashing would no longer be tolerated on this board.
Guest Flyboy Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Thanks, APO. And Jingus... UT could just state the fact that RVD needed Booker T. to beat him. And state that he beat RVD clean at their match at Vegeance at RVD's own game (it was a HC match). The only time RVD and HHH has been in the same ring was at the RR... RVD was getting his "RVD" chants... HHH Pedigrees him. No more RVD chants.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Even more proof Macho is coming back. Slim Jim is supposedly sponsoring KOTR.
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Do you want them to chant RVD after he leaves the building? Do you want them to chant RVD on their way to work? I don't know if you are saying the RVD fans stopped chanting in general or just that night. Maybe they stopped chanting RVD because he has been doing the same moves for the past 11 months. When he first came on the scene, he was doing cool moves that nobody had seend done before in the WWF. Now he's doing the same moves over and over again. I guarantee that the chants would come back and be stronger than ever if he started doing the stuf he did in ECW.
Guest Raven_Effect01 Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Jericho's pain or yours? Jericho's. Of course, many smarks like me were in pain too knowing that he wasn't going to ever be a WCW World Heavyweight title contender, or WWF/WWE title contender thanks to backstage politics. What the hell does Nash have to do with anything? Is he holding down Jeriho too? If you forgot, in 1999, different sources said that Nash told HHH to hold Jericho back as soon as he came into the WWF/WWE, and what resulted in that was Jericho having a bad feud with Chyna, teaming with her later, having only a 5-minute title reign in 2000, and other bad treatment. HHH was also said to have not liked Chris Jericho's cruiserweight style of wrestling, so he had Vince to get Jericho to adapt to the WWF/WWE style in his matches. Nash is now in WWE with HHH and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nash was up to his old tricks again like he was in WCW, which he is(whining about being called "Big Daddy Bitch" on TV by The Rock, complaining about having to work too much even though he hasn't had that many matches in WWE yet, holding back younger talent, etc.). You tell me who the hell Jericho is supposed to face now. What other faces are there on the Smackdown roster for him to face? The Rock is gone, he faced Triple H and he also faced Hogan. I thought Triple H bashing would no longer be tolerated on this board. If WWE would have done the smart thing by eliminating HHH's backstage politics and let Jericho finally get a clean win over him in the HIAC match at Judgment Day, there could have easily been some wrestlers that Jericho could be facing right now instead of untalented lugs like Mark Henry. Now, I know this probably wouldn't draw, but why not Angle vs. Jericho again or something? Or, when Benoit gets back and if he's going to stay on Smackdown, why not re-ignite a Jericho/Benoit feud? As for no HHH bashing tolerated, I knew about the rule, but I couldn't help but mention him to blame Jericho's depushing, which HHH is responsible for it, of course. I guess I should have done the HHH bashing in the No Holds Barred forum like most people do now.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Yeah well HHH already has credibility in the eyes of the fans. So if he fights someone lower on the card then there's no problem. But the fans don't believe in Jericho at all. So when he fights somebody lower on the card and he has to cheat to beat them then it is seen as a depush and continues to kill what little if any credibility he has.
Guest Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Well, I really don't like judging shows from paper. But, it looks like RAW has taken back over as the more entertaining show. Smackdown had a nice 2 week run. Next week, SD is in Calgary. Maybe that's why the Canadian guys are being used more this week? For the build up? I'm still praying Beniot comes back next week. They don't have to make him wrestle full time yet on the road. Just use him on SD and then go back down to Ohio until he is set for a full-time return. Maybe, that's why Jericho is wrestling idiots like Mark Henry right now. Just giving him something to do until Beniot gets back? I have no idea where the Storylines are going with the SD brand. RAW seems like they started a few new ones this week. Well, entertaining ones for my liking anyway. HHH and Test isn't a new feud. Next week, Triple H will squash him.
Guest cabbageboy Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 I think you guys are getting a bit carried away with the HHH/RVD thing. Yeah, RVD beat a whole bunch of guys during the Invasion and if HHH was there I think he could have gotten at least a tainted run in victory over him. But really, since they've never even had a 1 on 1 match this whole conspiracy thing is kinda silly. If you wanted to say HHH just hates RVD's style and tries to bury him behind the scenes, I might believe you. Since they've never wrestled before I can think of two reasons: 1. HHH is afraid of wrestling RVD since RVD would expose his sluggish "knee knee pedigree" offense. 2. They could be saving it for a big PPV match (where RVD of course would job). Now to address this SMDN show. I am deathly afraid of a UT/Hogan rematch at KOTR. If that does happen what exactly are a whole bunch of guys going to do? RVD? HHH? Edge? Just gonna be in the tourney I guess. If they do screw RVD out of the UT match in favor of Hogan (and they'd have to be insane) he's gotta win the KOTR tourney. There's not much else they could do with him since the Eddie feud is finished now.
Guest Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 As for no HHH bashing tolerated, I knew about the rule, but I couldn't help but mention him to blame Jericho's depushing, which HHH is responsible for it, of course. Guest treble charged Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Did anyone read the Velocity taping results? Same old tacticts getting people to watch their shows, with a Bra & Panties match, as well as Torrie distracting Tajiri, which I can only assume she does in a very "liberating" way.
Guest Human Fly Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 HHH - Test is fine with me. At least we're starting to localize the crap. Better these two feud then to drag down other wrestlers into the depths of horrible matches.
Guest HeartBreakCod Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Right, that's it, I'm never watching wrestling again. I mean, Triple H was champion a month ago before his push got cut off by the knees by that backstage bitch Hogan just to suit his ego trip. Now he's been depushed to such extent that he can't even beat Metal jobber Lance Storm without cheating? Fuck you Hogan. the reason triple H had no heat was nothing to do with him not having a decent match for months, it was the way his feud with fucking Hogan was booked. HHH was made to look like a pussy, how's he meant to get over? Fucking Hogan. Why does Hogan never let HHH pin him clean? Now he's depushed him so he never will. Bastard. I know its all Hogan's fault because my friends have told me so. (Now replace HHH with Jericho, Hogan with HHH, and Storm with Godfather) BIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTCCCCCHHHH I guess its HHH using his pull to get that main event feud with Test is it?

Guest Risk Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Triple H bashing should be mandatory on this board, he deserves it.
Guest cabbageboy Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 I read an interview recently where HHH said Test was ready to be a big player in the main event scene. Methinks the roids are going to Hunter's head. Sorry but Test is one of those guys who can never be pushed again. There are some angles that just kill a man's career. The wedding angle was the angle that pushed HHH to new heights but it also just killed Test's career. After that sort of angle there is not much you can do with him.
Guest Anglesault Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Failed Test push # 148578467458659078690767 is in full swing. I give it two weeks until Vince/Shane/JR whoeever realizes that Test is the most useless piece of shit in the WWE right now. He also happens to being pushed over ANGLE AND JERICHO. And the worst part of the show... Maven? Maven? MAVEN? Holy Fucking Christ. Kurt Angle is in a MAVEN feud? Oh my fucking God. I am staying as calm as I can now. The period between now and when I blow shall be known as the calm before the Storm.
Guest J*ingus Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 Hey, if they really want Maven to learn, why not put him in with the best?
Guest Anglesault Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 If they want Maven to learn, why not send him to OVW?
Guest Brian Posted May 22, 2002 Report Posted May 22, 2002 "Hey, if they really want Maven to learn, why not put him in with the best?" Because Eddie and Austin are feuding, and Benoit's injured.
